Best Gym near La-quinta, California

I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness in La Quinta since it first opened, and my experience has consistently been wonderful. One of the standout aspects of this location is the cleanliness – They actively encourage members to clean equipment before and after use, which I really appreciate, and the cleaning stations are always fully stocked. Even with new gyms opening nearby, I remain loyal to this location, largely due to an incredible employee named Myra. Every visit, Myra greets me warmly, asking how I am, and she makes everyone feel seen and welcomed. She goes above and beyond in her role, constantly working hard to ensure that everything is in order. She always has a friendly smile on her face, and her positive energy truly enhances the atmosphere. Planet Fitness is incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and friendly team member like Myra. I feel “at home” at this Planet Fitness and she is a big part of why I’ll continue choosing this location over others.

Nice! Everything clean! ... But they ran out of hot water at 8pm 👀🥶

The new Palm Desert location is like an Oasis for me. I can’t wait to get there when life is hectic. I reward myself with the black card spa once I make it through my workouts. The black card membership is more than worth it. Paying for a massage at a parlor would cost so much more. The friendliness of the staff and ultra clean facility are wonderful. I’m a very happy customer.

I won’t be back to this location. Staff was hostile and pressuring people out of the locker room 30 min before they closed. I would never keep employees past closing as I respect everyone’s time, but acting as if folks are burdening them by being there well within the stated hours is rude and not something I want to experience again. They even went so far as to zip tie the shower curtains so no one could use them. Yikes.

Wasn't Expecting a Sunday BBQ and mismanaged Sprinklers. Only where people were BBQ'ing.
