I have been a member of the YMCA since childhood. This YMCA absolutely lives up to the “Y” standard. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean. I love the separate workout rooms for women and men. I utilize the women’s steam room after every workout. I highly recommend this YMCA to anyone in the High Point and surrounding areas.

I've been a member of the YMCA for a while now, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic place to work out, connect, and grow! The staff is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about members' progress and well-being. The facilities are well-maintained, with everything from a clean and spacious gym, to a variety of exercise classes that cater to all levels. I also love the sense of community—it's a place where people of all ages and backgrounds feel comfortable and supported. Plus, they offer so many programs, from youth sports to adult fitness, that make it perfect for the whole family. Highly recommend the YMCA to anyone looking for a great community-oriented fitness center!

I love the Hartley Y! The staff is always friendly and the gym is always clean. In addition, my daughter participates in the After School and Camp Pioneer program which she truly enjoys. They invested a lot into my daughter and I have enjoyed watching her thrive. I thank God for this wonderful organization and the staff.

Super Star I misplaced my weeding bang, not of much monetary value. But my live depended on me getting home with that symbol of commitment on my ring finger. I went to the front desk and ask for help. I believe my savior name is Cheyenne. She calm me down, she saw the sense of agony and despair on my face. She immediately jumped to action. And very soothing voice was asking me to please help her retrace my steps. I followed blindly. Soon after with a sense of euphoria I was on my way home while, with my weeding band, and looking forward to a long prosperous life. Thank you Cheyenne. You are a SUPER STAR.

The WORST experience ever at a planet fitness. I came to this location because I was out of town for a company event my actual home gym is in Indiana but why should that matter I’m a black card member and I can go to any planet fitness. I went in and at this time it was about 3pm it moderately busy I went to the far back of the facility to stretch and jump rope. I picked up jumping rope recently as it has tremendously helped me with weight loss, focus, endurance and many more things. I have always been able to jump rope at all the planet fitness facilities I go to but this one in particular I could not. I literally felt attacked by the manager on duty at the time who was a Hispanic man (didn’t get the name) but he was very rude and insisted that I jump rope outside and to leave the facility and asked me if this was my HOME gym. I didn’t get hostile in any way and I just began to pack up my things and leave after I did that I went to the locker room and I had to get my gym bag I left in there and there was a gentleman in there mopping and i asked him if it was true that planet fitness banned people to jump rope in the facility and he said yes….THIS IS THEY AREA THEIR TOWN YOU ARE JUST A VISITOR. I asked him who is they and he said what color are you?who do you think? He said WHAT THEY SAY GOES DOWN HERE. I said but the gym is full of mixed individuals from all races what makes me different? I felt judged which I thought planet fitness was a judgment free zone, I felt scared because of what he was telling me like I can not go anywhere in North Carolina planet fitness because I’ll get racial profiled for going to the gym to jump rope. I have been a member for years and after this experience I feel like canceling my membership and never going to a planet fitness again this felt traumatizing.

Clean and welcoming with a large workout area. The Thirty Minute Circuit is accessible and the red/green light worked well for keeping me on track. After the workout, a shower. There is no specific changing stall for the showers which is a bummer. The shower was small but plenty of hot water. A small shelf inside for balancing my stuff and then back out into the common area to dry off. I'm sure none of you are interested in seeing my pasty frame wearing nothing at all and I'm definitely not interested in see y'all. Changing stalls would be a nice add. Otherwise, a positive experience and I'd be happy to come through here again.

I don't review places as much as I should, but this has been a long time coming for some time now. I'll aim for brevity, but won't compromise the point. When this place does what little is expected of it, it's great... the problem is that it doesn't always own up to it's end of the deal. For several times now, this "24hr" gym hasn't opened its doors at the time posted, when posted, IF posted at all. People have waited outside this gym for hours collectively over at least the last year or so, myself included. If you advertise your business as "open 24 hours" and people pay to get what they were promised, follow through. If you can't and need to arrange scheduled hours, be open at/before those hours. If even that's too difficult, POST THE UPDATED TIMES IN A PLACE AND MANNER IN WHICH PEOPLE CAN ACCESS THE INFORMATION BEFORE WASTING THEIR TIME AND GAS (like an app... which PF has). I already look like an @$$ on here, so I'll continue with an assumption— people working for this company aren't being properly monitored, managed, and/or held accountable. The result is theft from the company's most important investors; us. If this PF can't remedy this problem and soon, there will be a lacuna in the company's success. We don't want a post on the door every other day with an excuse on it. We want what we pay for. Do better.

I have been attending Pure Barre High Point 2-3 times weekly since September 2024, and I absolutely love it! I can definitely feel improvements in my endurance, balance and core strength. The instructors are kind and friendly, well-trained, professional, and I appreciate their availability before and after class to answer any questions or talk with me about my progress. The studio is beautiful, spacious, modern and super clean. The equipment is well-kept. The schedule of weekly classes is perfect for me, and my favorites are 9AM and 6AM. That's right, I said that! You should definitely give Pure Barre HP a try-

I LOVE Pure Barre High Point! My first class was in August of 2020 and I’m over 600 classes in! This studio has changed my life in so many positive ways and is not just about exercise for me. It has become a community of brave, strong and motivated women who have helped me see the beauty and strength in myself. There is no judgement or competition here. This is truly my favorite exercise format and something that I look forward to doing everyday! I highly recommend Pure Barre High Point to anyone looking to begin or add to their workout routine.

A year ago, I joined Pure Barre High Point with my sister and it has been one of my best decisions yet! I truly didn’t enjoy working out until I joined this studio. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I love it and would highly recommend joining this studio!

So I’ve been thinking about going back to pure barre for awhile now. I am not new to pure barre but I am new to pure barre High Point. From the moment I stepped into the studio I was greeted so sweetly from Mallory! She and I talked and I decided on that day I would sign up for the Fall Fit challenge! I haven’t looked back. I’m 18 classes in since Sept. 3rd and I am hooked all over again! I love the sense of community and the women taking the classes are great! It’s a super friendly atmosphere and I decided to also take the pop up class at Monkee’s. How fun! Shop and Lift, Tone, & Burn! So if you’re looking for a challenging yet attainable workout, this is the place for you!
