Best Gym near Hazlet, New-jersey

My 6 year old son just started classes at Bayshore Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and he absolutely loves it. He’s always been a little shy when trying new things but the coaches immediately were so welcoming and made him feel comfortable and confident. The facility is large and clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. We are very happy with this school so far and can’t wait to see his progression.

Iv been coming here for about 3 years now and brought my daughter as well. She started off in the lions cubs (3-5) and now does the 5-8 classes. I got to see her go from being shy and timid little baby that wouldn’t even speak to anyone else in the room, to a brave and fierce little girl that enjoys the mats. It’s such a safe and welcoming environment that the kids never wanna leave, they also have other non jujitsu events going on all the time. Don’t let professor joe wrap his arm around your head.

I have felt comfortable since the first time I walked into Bayshore BJJ. Coach Joe and staff are friendly, polite, welcoming and professional. The attention to detail on the instruction, easy going environment and lack of egos in the instructors and students makes for a very positive experience every time I walk in. I have and continue to bring my kids there for instruction, and for our favorite Saturday morning family classes. The mats are cleaned after every class and I never have to question if we are working in a clean space. Whether you’re looking to compete or just get some “me” time while bettering yourself - there’s something here for you, just walk in the door.

Coach Joe and the rest of the team at Bayshore Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are amazing. My son has been going there for about 4 years, and he absolutely loves it. He's always treated with respect, is constantly learning something new, and gets a great workout while he's at it.

I cannot express how life changing Dana and Alyssa have been to me. This is more than just a gym. This is a safe space to improve yourself both physically and in mindset. I feel like I am in a better place than I have been in a long time and most of the contributes to all the hard work Dana and Alyssa have done to help me. A great place to go if you are nervous about going to a big box gym or you have some past injuries/concerns. They truly modify everything to your needs to give you a fulfilling and personalized experience. They will be the only place I recommend from now on! I am not technically a Relentless member, but I would be if I lived closer! I am Coach Alyssa's Aunt and want to share how much she helped me. I have been having severe shoulder pain with limited range of motion for many months. I could barely lift anything or even put my arm into the sleeve of my jacket without difficulty. As an RN for over 30 years, my body has had a lot of wear and tear, and I figured this was something I would just have to deal with. Of course, as a nurse, I am the worst patient! Anyways, Coach Alyssa saw I was having difficulty, listened to my symptoms, and gave me a few simple exercises and stretches to do. I have been doing them and am SO happy to say my pain is much lessened and my range of motion is much improved! I really can't thank her enough! The Relentless crew is so lucky to have Coaches like Alyssa and Dana!

I set my alarm to never miss a workout! I was never able to follow a program or be consistent in the gym until I found Relentless. The coaches and fellow members make the atmosphere fun engaging and not intimidating. They have helped me grow stronger in body and mind - the improvement in my mental health and personal confidence has been extraordinary. I finally found my path to total wellness!

By far the best gym/training program I have ever participated in, my favorite hour of the day!!! I always viewed working out as a chore but the awesome trainers have showed me how much fun it can be. Finally found the fun and motivating program I have been searching for for 10+ years.

Coach D and AK are truly the best. I've never been around two people who care more about you actually achieving your goals. They are excellent listeners and meet you where you are. I could go on and on about all the wonderful parts of Relentless! If you want to get better every day, this is absolutely the place for you.

Compared to the other planet fitness location I came from this gym definitely needs an upgrade. They need upgraded equipment and staff. The staff does a terrible job. Paper towels and disinfectant spray bottles always empty. I never see staff going around to clean or tidy up the gym such as putting weights back on the rack. This gym is also very small so it’s always crowded. Overall just not a fan of this location!

Only local 24/7 gym which is great due to my late working hours. Tons of equipment is constantly out of service and the water fountain is ALWAYS broken. They don't even offer free water to compensate

I go to the Hazlet location and have been a member of other gyms. Love going here for many reasons but some of the top are machines are kept in working order and gym is always clean. All of the staff I have interacted with are super engaged and friendly and professional. Cannot beat the value and this location is very well run and my go to for all workout needs.

Very clean and well-kept location. Encouraging crew and phenomenal service at the front desk. I would like to personally compliment John for being an excellent employee and walking me through the ropes of successfully signing up for the high school free-month program. He explained to me the valuable black card membership and the benefits that comes with it. Will be signing up soon. Thanks John!

Ive been going to this PF for quite awhile. Not bad at all. It Does what its supppsed to do. But whats the deal wth these people doing 1 set and then scroll the phone for 10 minutes? Just now i did 2 body parts and 20 minutes of cardio before this one woman got off the press machine that she wasnt even using... and had her sneakers off with her feet on the dumbell handles...dude...put your sneakers back on. Are we animals?Do something about celly use...work out and move it along for someone else. Wth

I joined Hammer Trained in the summer in hopes to get better at my sport (wrestling) and ended up doing that while becoming part of an amazing hardworking community. From joining this gym, I also gained the best coach who’s never failed to help teach and support me. I always look forward to training here and getting better each day!

Amazing gym, top notch trainers and coaches. My daughter wrestles in HS and goes here for extra training and takes other classes too. Highly recommend it!

Training at Hammer sports has been outstanding so far, and I cannot commend coach Josh enough. He's an incredible motivator, involved, and clearly cares about all members of his gym and the goals they seek to achieve. The gym is clean, has everything you need to get a full workout, and reasonably priced. I look forward to working out now and having a true coach and motivator in your corner is priceless. My son has been going to Hammer for only 6 months and has improved immensely in wrestling. Would highly recommend Hammer for newbies to experienced athletes. Coach Josh is building something great here!

Susan was absolutely fantastic and so generous with her instruction. She really helped me with form and to feel more comfortable in my practice.

Omg Kelly is amazing! Classes here are intimate and the studio is so inviting. Bodhi offered me a safe space to step out of my comfort zone and really connect to meditation. Kelly’s workshops are fantastic and offer a unique perspective. It’s a truly therapeutic approach to all the benefits of yoga

I absolutely love it here. Pat is the best personal trainer i ever had. Talking to Pat and coming to this gym has changed my life. We set goals and are now working hard towards them. Everybody is very encouraging and supportive. Pat and Ethan are the best! Definitely recommend everybody to come in and try it out.

Just move makes fitness for me and my whole family so much fun. The training is outstanding and tailored to each of us. This has us all excited to go to the gym.
