I called the help desk to inquire about the swim lessons. After talking for 15 mins I was not able to get any good information. She kept on giggling to other people that she does not understand my questions. I felt she was very unprofessional. When I said to give the line to someone else to whom I can talk properly she put me on a long hold. I felt her behavior extremely disrespectful and unapologetic. I hope they train their staff well to deal with customers.

The location of this Y is perfect since it’s just a mile from our home. The gym is tiny in comparison to the newer, much larger and updated Y’s, but it does provide you with everything you need for a good workout. My biggest complaint is with the pool. They seem to routinely be understaffed with lifeguards. I’ve been in the pool for less than 10 minutes on multiple occasions when I was informed they would be closing the pool and reopening in 15 minutes because there was only 1 guard on duty. More than once I arrived at 5am to swim, only to be told the lifeguard didn’t show up (this morning was the 3rd time it’s happened). The staff has always been friendly, so I really want to rate it higher. But the inconsistency with the pool and the underwhelming gym makes it hard to give it anything higher than a 2 star, especially when you see what other Y’s offer at the same price.

We've gone here for our sons' swimming lessons for over a year. The experience has been hit-or-miss as there seems to be a real staffing shortage for instructors and several of them aren't very good. The lesson times are also very limited and mostly available on Saturdays. Today I was told of a new policy that will ensure we don't return. The YMCA has decided that we can no longer sign up our children for classes at the same time as full-membership families. My youngest son has special needs and his membership is paid for through insurance. Apparently this also means he is treated like a second-class member and we will be edged out of the already limited lesson times that he can attend. My other son has a lessons-only membership so he is also not able to sign up until a week after registration opens. I'm sure this is just their most recent play to get more people to sign up for family memberships but instead it means we'll be dropping our memberships altogether and no longer attending any lessons. This is the last straw among many other issues including: - rude staff - outdated facility - limited parking - lack of communication

I've traveled to 6 states so far and had a membership in all those states for the Y. This facility is probably the WORST I've ever been to. There staff are just not friendly and frankly very rude. I one time ask someone where the dance class was and he talked to me like I was stupid. I've never been in there before. They also are limited in supplies. Every other facility I've been to small or large has mats, towels, different equipment to help you with your fitness practice. This facility lacks that and made excuses that it was because of covid when we're in 2023 and every other facility including the nearby onei in Lansdale supplies mats. They definitely can loan you a Pilates ball but they can't lend you a mat. The energy of this whole facility is off and it shows.

By far, the best gym I’ve ever been to! I’ve never felt more motivated to pursue my fitness goals, until I started classes at Burn Boot Camp. Each workout is challenging, but attainable for all fitness levels. There is a great sense of community, and all the instructors are so nice. The workouts are fun, fly by, and honestly are kind of addicting lol. I’ve also noticed results really quickly, which has never happened for me before. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Burn Boot Camp has been a life changing experience! The workouts are fun, always different and very addicting. The trainers make sure to have modifications & are always very encouraging! The owners Colleen & Tom, are so welcoming and make it feel like a family! I have loved every second of it & would recommend any age or fitness level to give it a try!

Burn has been such a great addition to Harleysville! The workouts are efficient, effective and modifiable to any fitness level (from those new to movement to the extremely fit). No two workouts are ever the same, which keeps it interesting. The trainers are so encouraging and the entire community has been so welcoming. Being part of Burn has been a very positive experience!

First time ever doing a class in a structured manner. Personal trainers are both excellent. You really feel it after the one hour burn 🔥 It really is a whole body complete workout for strength training with cardio baked into it. Highly recommend this place!

Place has gone down hill. No Pride in keeping it clean and machines operable. The gray haired man (owner maybe?) is also rude. I finally looked elsewhere. Glad I did

As a person who gets overwhelmed from the big box gyms, this gym is perfect! A boutique style gym where you feel part of a great community! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive! The classes are unique and challenging! I used to dread working out and would constantly be looking at the clock for when it would be over, but not here. I truly look forward to working out here! I cannot recommend it enough!

Fierce is exactly what I’ve been looking for! A welcoming and positive atmosphere. Maggie and Elissa will meet you where you are on your fitness journey. They will challenge you and push you past your comfort zone. I love the Rise & Grind classes which is fast paced circuits of strength mixed in with cardio. You get a great workout in a short amount of time. I’ve been looking for the right gym, something that feels like a community and trainers who want to see you succeed, this is it! Don’t be afraid to try out a class!

As a stay at home mom I was looking for a gym that not only got me out of the house but provided me with challenging workouts and a community feel and that’s exactly what Fierce offers and really has given me so much more. I love the energy, positive and uplifting environment and variety of classes. I have left every workout feeling challenged and excited for the next class. And icing on the cake, there’s a sauna! I’m so happy Fierce opened up in Harleysville, it has been a great addition to the area!

My daughter danced at the Conservatory of Music and Dance for 15 years. The dance instruction and the encouragement that she received has been outstanding. There are many opportunities from student teaching to performing in many wonderful productions and recitals. The Conservatory of Music and Dance has taught my daughter discipline and responsibility as well as a real passion for dance. The studio is very diverse and offers instruction in voice, music and theater. I would highly recommend this studio.
