Best Gym near Hackettstown, New-jersey

I’ve been to at least 10+ gyms and enjoy trying out different gyms for fun and have to say this gym is one of the best. Owner is extremely nice and very welcoming to everyone. This gym has everything you and has some machines I’ve never seen at other gyms. Highly recommend checking it out!

Any Gym Goers paradise. If you love heavy weights, getting a sick pump, a variety of machines, flexible timing and fair pricing you found your gym. Literally a hidden gem for those in the area and if you go anywhere else you’re missing out.

Absolutely incredible gym! Packed with awesome equipment, great atmosphere friendly staff. Highly recommend to any gym enthusiast.

Great gym - 2 floors and packed with equipment!

I’m so glad I left this establishment. I witnessed people throwing cars full of garbage in the parking lot/woods and reported it to the staff. They did nothing. The sauna issue is till present but that’s obvious if you read any other reviews. They have continued to charge me after I moved and cancelled my membership. Honestly happy that I moved. Years ago this place was fine but the new owner is not present and unethical.

Great gym; good atmosphere. There’s always cardio equipment available. There’s a good mix of free weights and machines. Management does a very good job to maintain the equipment and keep the gym clean.

I’ve been going to this gym for almost a year now and it’s so worth it! The parking is great, theres always space. The gym itself is very clean and the employees are very nice and friendly! Great smoothies too!

Just canceled my membership. I wasn't going to leave this review until I saw someone else review with the same issue. It is absurd to allow a couple to work out together with a baby in a stroller where other gymgoers are trying to walk or work out, and diaper bags and gym bags spread across the floor. Not only is it incredibly unsafe and questionable common sense for staff to allow this, but the couple working put with their baby is incredibly rude, full of dirty looks and will occupy each machine forever. I assume they're friends with a manager or owner to get away with this. Nothing else would make sense. Gave Roxbury a chance before canceling and that place is an absolute dump. Fitness factory is way nicer for the same price without any nonsense.

This gym doesn't seem to understand the risks they put themselves and their clients at every day by allowing customers to bring young babies and infants into the gym with them. They are opening themselves up to a serious lawsuit should something, anything, happen to the child. Also, I don't want to go to gym at a daycare, so if they don't clamp down on this, I'm going elsewhere.

I mean the LA fitness in Randolph has nicer locker rooms and bathrooms, but it is a drive for me so I got the free trial for crunch despite the reviews. Granted I don’t go into the women’s bathroom so maybe it is a problem🤷🏻‍♂️ but the gym itself served its purpose.

I love this gym. The staff members are great! Everybody is friendly and helpful. They even know me by name. I am greeted on arrival and acknowledged as I leave. I see Matt and the staff on the floor checking on things. The facility is impeccably clean, much improved over previous owner. I love the recent repositioning of machines. They are perfect for the flow of my workout.

Hear me out. I know gyms aren’t the best smelling places, and I expect that. But the girls locker room is next level. I know other people have noticed it, it’s not BO it smells like sewage. Like the toilets are quite literally back flowing into the drains or something. When it’s brought to the attention of the manager she just brushes it off going no people just smell, as if we don’t know the difference between arm pit and actual crap. Do better 👏🏼

I found out that Medicare offers the Silver Sneakers program. Two locations were offered nearby. I went to Crunch first. Matt at the front desk was positive, enthusiastic, and extremely welcoming. On the basis of Matt alone I chose to sign up for Crunch. I have since gotten to know most of the staff who handles the front desk. They are all top notch.

I love Crunch Fitness in Hackettstown, NJ. I’m always greeted by the friendly staff with a big hello & a smile. There’s so much great equipment to use also. Recently, Danielle, coordinated a pickleball afternoon on a Sunday. I had so much fun & a great workout. The snacks after hit the spot. Dena is awesome & very knowledgeable about fitness & health. She always gives me a wave & a smile when she sees me. Can’t wait to get back to Crunch tomorrow! 👍

Great equipment, staff and customers. Impeccably clean. Classes are great. Staff, instructors and other guests are all very friendly.4-8-24.. the gym is still wonderful. Always clean, always friendly staff & instructors. I enjoy every minute i'm there. 9/20/24- they are always trying out new classes and always keep the place clean. I couldn't ask for more.

Love this place! What a great investment. Classes are perfectly paced with more and more being added to the schedule. It's a very clean environment with friendly people. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice place to work out.

This kids gym is phenomenal. The owner is very friendly, and the place is VERY clean despite the number of children present. It is also very reasonably priced and I appreciate that you do not have to be a member of riverside fitness center in order for your child(ren) to participate in the activities here.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. I’ll be updating my post. I was skeptical signing up because I didn’t think there would be enough equipment. I’ve been spoiled by great big box gyms for years but Riverside has everything you need. Every major machine, squat racks, smith machines, you name it for specific muscle groups, cardio and a yoga room. They’re great for their kids room as well and John at the front desk in the mornings is super friendly. Great value!

Of all the gyms in the local area, Riverside H&F Center is by far-and-away my favorite gym. From its wide array of upper-tier fitness equipment to its professional & helpful staff, I can't honestly think of a negative trait to complain about. Plus, I really like the social dynamic of the gym's patrons. A healthy mix of friendly folks involved in casual/family fitness, athletics & bodybuilding. I highly recommend this gym for all people for all levels of fitness. Oh yeah, the place is super-hygienic and has a well-organized footprint. All in all, an A+!

First and foremost I feel good about the cleanliness of Riverside! I love that it’s owned by a couple with two littles who really understand how to monitor kiddos and make sure everything is safe for them. My daughter has been going since before she was fully walking and she continues to find new things to try and skills to practice! They have great toddler themed events as well that she has enjoyed greatly!!

We love Riverside Kids! We started taking daughter at 2 and a half to help her build her confidence and interact with other kids her age. Our daughters loves everything about Riverside Kids especially the instructors. The instructors are so friendly and are great at interacting with the kids during classes and open play. We knew it was the perfect place to celebrate her 3rd birthday!

Riverside is such a wonderful place for children of all ages! It’s so great for children to connect with others from the community as well as a great opportunity for parents who need to run errands or need to work for a few hours while ensuring that their children are interacting and burning off energy! It is especially convenient when schools are closed as an option for part-time childcare and it’s affordable even for those that have a large family! The owners are wonderful people and I cannot recommend enough.

Best place to bring your children for a super fun time! Always clean and well supervised. Birthday parties here are a blast and a no brainer (no mess & no planning). Definitely book your child’s next Birthday party here!!

I brought my 2 year old son here for the first time and we loved it he had so much fun the staff member is so sweet and kind we will definitely be coming back

I had my first ever yoga session here on a Tuesday morning. Hot yoga made it that much better. I have back issues so I took it easy, but the instructor was great with details and tips for ease. Definitely helped stretch my muscles and ease some tension in my back. There are mats and blocks for you to use or you can bring your own. I recommend bringing water and a towel for sweat. Enjoy!!

Amazing class, great environment and studio! Appropriate balance of the physical nature of the asana practice in heat for maximum low-impact physical and cardio workout with the calming, meditative guidance from very skilled teachers. Great for all levels of practicioner. Bring water if you've never done a hot vinyasa flow class before.

We can not give Danny enough praise! Our son attended class for 2-3 years and loved every minute of it. 3 years after he last attended class, Danny reached out to us asking about our son and how he was doing and that he missed him. We knew that Jui Jitsu will build character but for Danny to reach out after that many years shows just how great of an instructor Danny is and how much he truly cares about our youth. Highly recommend it for anyone looking into a place for your children!

I moved to New Jersey after graduating college and starting a new job. After several months of coming home from work and having nothing to do, I decided to try out a new sport by joining this gym. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Danny and the coaches not only provide excellent instructions through traditional and modern approaches, but they also facilitate a culture of camaraderie and peer-to-peer learning. Attending class became a way to learn new techniques while also hanging out with the new friends I have made. Thank you to NJ Ronin and the team for providing me with a new home while away from home.

I attended a class one Saturday at NJ Ronin and was welcomed so warmly by the owner who showed me around the really well equipped, maintained and clean, overall super cool gym. The vibes inside are really fun and their attention to detail is amazing. It did not stop at the interior design. On the mat I felt like I was given individualized attention and pointers specific to me and my game. It really was such a pleasant experience and it’s always appreciated when the vibes are about growth, positivity and fun. They even have saunas! It was a wonderful experience I highly highly recommend and am thankful for my time and hope to visit again soon! Thank you! x

I Joined NJ Ronin about a year and half ago and haven’t looked back. I love the atmosphere here and the energy everyone brings every class! Coaches are amazing as well and are very helpful to the new students. Can’t forget the Recovery room with 2 saunas!

This gym has such so much to offer, a great variety of classes, culture is excellent, and there is tremendous support if you want to compete in BJJ. The owner does an excellent job making sure that the gym has a very. This is the second gym I've been to, and while I liked my first gym years ago, this one has been the perfect fit for me, I can't get enough of it. I have not had a bad day once here, the training is awesome. Besides being extremely newcomer friendly and having a great culture, I would say the owner's one quality that separates him from the rest is that he's willing to adapt the techniques that he teaches extremely fast. He's still a student of the game as well and he'll go out to other places and learn new techniques and is quick to share them with us and they help so much.

I love this Gym, great atmosphere and pretty much all the equipment you could possibly need. Open 24 hours is a plus

Achieve 24 Fitness is a gym that is affordable, has awesome trainers, and is just an overall positive environment! Not only is the staff full of knowledge, but they are truly Genuine people that care about each of their clients and helping them ACHIEVE their personal fitness goals! They are accommodating to your needs big or small. Since day one these guys have welcomed me with open arms and huge smiles! I have learned so much with my personal trainers Alex, Myke and Dennis!! They have educated me, motivated me, and picked me up in the times I didn’t think I could push myself any harder! I would have never imagined the type of results I have seen since joining!! Not only have I lost weight, and inches, (all in the right places :-)) I’ve gained so much confidence in how I look and feel! I cannot scream THANK YOU loud enough to Alex and Myke for their dedication with improving me!!!! I am forever thankful for not only finding great trainers and a great gym, but also making great friends! You guys are the best of the best!!

I joined Achieve last October and it was one of the best decisions I have made. Achieve has the friendliest staff and the trainers are all so knowledgeable. The new owner, Myke, has made some huge changes and upgrades to the gym since I originally became a member. This gym has been getting better by the day and membership prices haven't changed. I recommend this gym to all of my friends. Achieve is by far a step above any other gym I have been to.

Achieve has great staff that are very knowledgable and extremely friendly. This gym has everything you need and is very clean. Since I started coming here, the gym has made many changes and upgrades and they are still making upgrades. I love this gym and would not go to any other gym.

The new owner of Achieve Myke has turned this gym around. I've been a member for years but lately it has became an awesome gym. Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean, has all the machines you need and 24 hours is great. Great value for more a more than fair price.

I have taken private and group classes from Melissa for more than a decade. She has helped me immensely in developing better posture, flexibility, and balance. Her classes are energizing and adjusted to individual levels of ability. I have a physical handicap and working with Melissa has given me greater confidence in my own capabilities.

I have been taking classes with Melissa for over 10 years. When Covid hit, we switched to zoom and although I miss seeing her, I still get the same benefits. Slowly learning to relax, identifying and targeting what is going on in my body, I have felt my core strengthen with postural awareness. I have a great respect for how my body is put together. The class is like an integral meditation in motion. It’s not hard but takes focus and persistence. Melissa is such a gifted teacher that she can vocalize what I am feeling as she is sitting and instructing. The bottom line is that these classes have made a significant difference to my health, wellness and life.

I can't tell you how much I love and appreciate Melissa. She has helped me through so many injuries--most recently with arthritis of the hip. Through it all she is intuitive and insightful, as well as thoroughly knowledgeable about the body. And she has a great attitude! I live for her praise. She keeps me in motion, for sure! She helps me know myself.

I love Melissa! She’s been doing this for a long time and is very knowledgeable. I have no regrets signing up for her classes.

Melissa is an unusually knowledgeable, thoughtful and creative instructor. She works with me and with my husband individually in an informed and sensitive way and is able to meet each of our quite different needs very successfully..

I have been to many chiropractors and this is by far the best. Your visit is not just a quick adjustment- it’s a whole package- massage- adjustment- stim and traction table- wonderful staff- friendly and clean and accommodating!
