Best Gym near Grove-city, Pennsylvania

Went to this YMCA for a swim meet. Experience here was terrible and not pleasant at all. Staff are really rude to members of the faculty. Please, do not swim at this YMCA if you are coming here for a competitive event. Place is horrible, dirty, etc. The water is filled with clumps of hair, there was gum in the pool gutters. Deck was dirty. Only thing I would say was clean was the locker room, no hair on the floor, no disgusting stains. Let me get to the worst part of this YMCA. The diving blocks, multiple individuals slipped off of the blocks entering their races. A friend of mine dislocated his fibula in his leg. Place is really cold, need more heaters. Overall my experience was NOT pleasant.

Poorly managed facility. The Pool only has one lifeguard when Mercer county requires TWO by law. They charge customers an arm and a leg to be a member but can’t provide a proper lifeguard chair that isn’t unstable pvc pipe. All the training gear is restricted to just swim team members. Management clearly plays favorites with customers. Pool is often fully booked for swim teams or other events. Saw 20+kids in the pool with only one lifeguard. Definitely NOT legal. Seen the swim coach actively on their phone while the teams practice. This facility is a liability lawsuit waiting to happen. Water heater for the pool was broken for days before anybody knew what was going on. Despite the water heater being broken, they continued to have swim lessons for kids under 8, which are more susceptible to hypothermia. Lips turning blue cold.

Greedy and poor management. This place is overpriced for the condition of the facilities. Don’t waste your time and find an actual gym that appreciates your business.

Nice facility, very nice staff. A good family oriented place. Good monthly rates. Only complaint would be that they don't clean the mats in the cycle room. Many people use that area to stretch and do exercises on the floor. They should make it a point to keep those mats clean.

Worked here as a lifeguard. Chair was made out of cheap pvc, unstable. Was not aloud to use the swim coaches chair. Treated poorly and underpaid.

It's actually kinda of dark inside. Paint schemes don't help. I was able to do my exercises with no problems, but when I went outside to cool down and grab my gym bag for a shower, I noticed police pulling over someone for the second time that hour. Needless to say, I skipped the shower and went about my way .

I’ve been going here sporadically for about a year now (schedule changes and tend to use my own school gym during the semester for convenience) and it’s always very clean and put together. Usually not too busy, although I go typically in the early morning. Erin is very nice and if you come on a good day, you might be able to pet her puppy! All in all, stellar gym experience!

I’ve been going to this gym for almost 3 years and it’s the best decision I ever made! Kellie and Erin are always more than happy to help. It’s a calm environment and the staff makes sure it stays that way. Very clean and up to date equipment. If you want friendly staff and a welcoming gym, come sign up!

This gym is the best one I have ever been too! Everyone is friendly and I have made so many new gym friends! The management is amazing and so sweet! Erin and Kelly make sure everyone is enjoying their experience. Tried Kelly’s boot camp for the first time today and even though I may not walk tomorrow it was a great time! Thank you for everything you both do!

Keystone Event Center is a wonderful wedding venue. Monique, the event planner, is amazing. She went out of her way to help us in any way possible. She responded quickly to all of our questions. The other employees from set-up to housekeeping were professional and worked hard to get the venue prepped for our event. I highly recommend Keystone Event Center. They made wedding planning a breeze. Congratulations to Elizabeth & Peter!

Keystone is awesome! My wife and I got married there in January 2024, and Monique and Nathan were so helpful and accommodating. The space can hold lots of people without being too echoey, and it doesn’t take that much to move it from “gym” to “wedding” feel. It’s hard to find a spot that can hold so many people and be beautiful at the same time. We happened to get married soon after Christmas, so we picked up a bunch of trees and decorated with them. We also created a backdrop to conceal the basketball hoop by the sweetheart table. Definitely would recommend it for a reception venue if you’re looking for one in the area.

We had our wedding here and it was such a wonderful venue! Monique and the whole team at Keystone Events Center were fabulous to work with and guided us throughout the process and always answered our questions in a timely manner. The space is incredibly nice, spacious, and full of great character. Would highly recommend considering this space for your event!

Gorgeous event space! Clean bathrooms, parking available, and the white brick walls make great photo backdrops. Love that we have a space like this in Grove City.

Wise fitness truly offers an “at home” feel to your gym experience, which is nice if you feel overwhelmed working out! It is always extremely clean and inviting with warm friendly faces!

Friendly and understanding physical therapists. Extremely clean throughout the facility. Definitely recommend Wise Strength training.

I recently joined this CrossFit gym, and it has been an incredible experience from day one! The atmosphere is welcoming and motivating, making it easy to stay committed. The coaches are knowledgeable and genuinely care about each member's progress, providing personalized guidance that helps everyone improve. I've been attending almost every day since opening, and I love the sense of community here. Everyone encourages one another, and it's inspiring to see people of all fitness levels working hard and achieving their goals. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get fit while being part of a supportive and energetic community!

This is such a great place! Dan, the head coach, is committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals, through technical training and encouraging motivational. He does a great job of building a community where it's normal to care about the people around you and do hard things. The gym has a great atmosphere, and the other members all show up to work hard and encourage you.

For a while, I looked for a place to go to help me reach some fitness/health goals. I am so glad I found GFF! Dan is a great coach and does a fantastic job following up and motivating us.

Daniel is an extremely knowledgeable and caring coach. He pushes me and the other gym members to do our best. Classes are set up in a way that makes it easy for someone who is just starting Crossfit to get the concepts as well as people who have been doing it for a while and like a challenge. Daniel and his staff are very good at tailoring the workouts to fit your fitness goals.

This is a great gym! Very nice equipment and modern facility. Fabolous instructors who help and give personal attention. Daniel makes working out fun and provides great community for CrossFit workouts. I highly recommend anyone to go to this gym and try it out!

Worst gym facility I’ve ever been to. They have two gyms, both are crap. Friendly employees, but broken, outdated machines, dirty walls, overflowing trash, low-energy atmosphere, and no mirrors. Only three benches total between both.

Has two pools and a nice work out facility.
