Today I came to this facility. They said the pool is closed 4 hours per day 4 days a week. I asked if any of the members will be reimbursed since half the facility is closed half the time. They said no one else cares but me. I'll post this here for anyone who also thinks its unacceptable. Ps. If you don't have lifeguards then you owe us a refund.

The staff members are very welcoming and the facility has many opportunities for fitness. I especially like the water/pool opportunities.

The Grove City YMCA is a wonderful family friendly place where you can do so many things such as swimming, dance & workout classes to name a few. The facility is always clean, the Staff is always so nice & helpful including the members who attend. The kiddos love the outside pool and we love the lap lanes and the weight room. We continue to renew our membership because of the variety of activities available for the whole family.

Saturday morning staff must not speak or hate working Saturday. My daughter and I leave about 11 am, I say, "Have a good day" and nothing in return. My daughter, as we walk through the door says, " well that is rude, why even say anything mom?" I tell her I didn't say it to get a response I said it to be kind, no matter if there is a response or not. Thank you for not responding. I was able to show another example to my daughter on how to remain kind in the presence of rudeness. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

went here for a swim meet. It was the worst I've every had. So this was a pretty small meet, but the amount of incidents that happened were not small. First, staff is not properly trained. The lifeguards on duty are teenagers clearly not trained because they're talking to their buddies. Their staff was incredibly rude when asked a question. The pool was the worst pool that I've ever swam in. The flags on the ceiling for backstroke were far off the normal amount, making many people add times on their events. The pool water was super murky with weird strands of things inside of them For competitive swimmers, DO NOT COME HERE! The starting blocks were horrible, with them having absolutely no grip, causing people to slip, fall, get injured, and get disqualified on their events. The water conditions are horrible, the scoreboard is unresponsive, and the touchpads are super delayed. I would give this 0 stars if I could

They created an additional account under my name and when I tried calling them to get my money back and to speak to a manager. The employees made a joke, laughing etc about the whole situation . I was told they didn’t have a manager and to call on Monday. I called again and an employee said the manager was in a meeting, then said they didn’t have a manager on duty when I asked to speak to them. Like why lie about that. They are rude and will try all their best to avoid you, thus playing hide and seek with incompetent employees. Find a different gym if you don’t want to be robbed. It is not worth the headache or making business with rude, arrogant and disrespectful people. This place needs serious work. The only employee that was helpful and respectful was Brad give him a raise!

Kaitlyn at the front desk was very very unprofessional and rude. My husband and I have always used the guest pass. I pay my membership fee monthly in order to get this guest pass, we work on different schedules so we work out for about 15 minutes together and then i leave and he stays to finish his work out. upon arrival today when he scanned his QR code to workout she had stopped him and told him he can not workout here using a guest past. He asked about starting up his own membership and she was again completely unprofessional, didn’t offer to sign him up, no details on how to buy a membership or why he couldn’t workout today with his pass that again i pay for monthly. she said “you are a guest and don’t actually have an account so you have to leave right now” my boyfriend then asked about getting his own membership if this was a issue she proceeded to say “i said right now which means now, get out” safe to say my money will be going else where. i called after the encounter and asked why it was this way, after she couldn’t give me answers i asked to talk to someone else, she told me no and then hung up on me. the “perks” for paying DOUBLE a normal membership aren’t worth this hassle. you can’t use the guest pass, the tanning beds are always dirty, unprofessional staff, equipment is always broken or down. a gym who claims to be a judgement free zone, where you expect nice staff and a comfortable place to work on yourself, this is not that. if i could give stars for the staff it would be negative.

Really like the facility and overall cleanliness. Can be a bit crowded depending on the day and time that a person goes to the gym. Is there any chance this gym could be open 24 hrs?

Do not recommend!! My girls were excited to start gymnastics here as we just moved from Hilliard. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience. My youngest daughter is pretty advanced for her age and they put her in a class where beam was new to her. Which is fine she just needs to be taught. Well this is a gym where kids are trying to teach kids and have no patience. My daughter was not understand what the coach was trying to say and instead of physical showing her what to do she yelled at her and was rolling her eyes and throwing her hand on her head. I went to the front desk after this happened multiple times and told them they needed to talk to her. Instead they kicked us out the gym and told me I would have to talk to the owner. After being told the owner would call she never did and I call every day for a week. Never received a call back explaining why we were takes out of classes. If you need a gym for gymnastics I would highly recommend UGI!!!

This place isn't really gymnastics, its more of a place for your kids to burn energy. The gymnastics fundamental is definitely not there. Brought my 4 year old for a good while, and she did not learn much from this place. The lady Kathy that was her instructor did not know how to teach whatsoever. One of the parents actually had to get up and teach Kathy how to teach the kids how to do a simple cartwheel. Very unimpressed and a waste of money. I now have my kids at a real gymnastics place and its amazing how much more they learned already compared to this place. Not to mention, the parking lot at their new facility is the worst. Extremely packed on weeknights. Goes to show its all about numbers. Sorry but a 1 star is being nice.

We love Vitality! We've been members for a few years but have only been to the new gym once. It was very nice & spacious! I know back when I did gymnastics and tumbling, I would've loved to have had a space/equipment like that. 😍 The staff has always been helpful and responsive to emails. We recommend Vitality to anyone who asks for gymnastics recommendations!

What a great addition to our downtown area! The little gym, with the entrance next to Lily’s Kitchen, has a perfect size dance floor to host the high energy classes that only Zumba Blondie and Brownie can provide. They create such a positive environment that’s perfect for all fitness levels. Have your kids in tow? Bring them! They have a large waiting area equipped with Netflix and a large comfy couch to help pass the time in addition to a toy area. Do yourself a favor and check out Mike Nicholson’s hip hop class on alternating Mondays, it will be your new addiction. They offer a nice mixture of cardio and strength training classes. With great monthly prices, you can’t go wrong!
