Going on a family vacation after my dad's passing, saw a cute little spot by the river to eat our lunch, saw the sign for public parking access. Man came out like 4 min after we arrived and was extremely rude saying it was "very private area." We just explained we were eating lunch really quick and leaving. Before we could even finish our sentence he said call your people and get off. So... Not public parking I guess. Thanks for making an already sad trip stressful.

Lovely space for events. Came here for a Greenwich Realtors- International Day. The space was comfortable. The acoustics were clear.

We were there for a party. I have medical dietary needs that they were unable or unwilling to cater to, I literally ate nothing. Worse, my mother, who flew in to attend, was forced to wait outside during a heat wave for hours. Service was rude and uncaring. I was NOT impressed.

I had my eye on joining here since moving here in 2011 and on a whim through our names on the list. It was worth the wait. The food is top notch. The activities (fitness, kayaking etc are all included) and are first rate. Best of all, the atmosphere is friendly and also service-oriented and the views are to die for. I appreciate our membership.

We stayed at the Cos Cob Inn on the other side of the street and ate at the Club's restaurant that evening and had the best time. Check them out.

I was at this location on Tuesday doing a workout with my trainer on FaceTime, when one staff member came over to me telling me that I cannot record in the gym. I explained that I wasn’t recording. Shortly after another staff member came over and told me that I couldn’t live stream. I explained that I wasn’t live streaming I’m simply working out with my trainer. Then a 3rd staff member came over to me and told me that I couldn’t do whatever I was doing with my phone because they had complaints about recording in the gym a few days ago. I really believe that I was racially profiled because I see people on FaceTime all the time at this location. Although I told them that I wasn’t recording, I still was being targeted. What’s the point of having a membership when you can’t reach your goals at the gym with your trainer. My trainer lives in a whole different state, I’m just getting back into the gym and this is a problem. I really do not like how they treated me and I would like to see a contract where I’m not allowed to FaceTime in the gym.

The atmosphere in the gym is friendly. The onsite manager does a great job with what she has. But I do have an issue with the management a level above that. They charge an annual fee over and above the monthly fee for annual improvements. But, I haven't seen anything new added to the gym in years. Lately, the water in the water fountain has been allowed to flow 24x7 for 3-weeks. Upper management seems not to send people over to fix it. (Or the toilet that's been out of service even longer.) Water is precious. They shouldn't be wasting it. As expected, the gym is crowded in the evenings. It's super crowded when school is out. You will need to be flexible as to what you use as there is very few duplicate pieces of equipment. The place is pretty clean.

I love the edge.I love all the location Greenwich. Locations very clean nice atmosphere. The members are pleasant and Courteous. The Trainers, have really great energy and attitude. Very pleasant, nice smiles and inviting. This makes them easy to approach and ask any questions. 👍 I always get had a good workout. One thing I would bring up, is maybe if they can One more smith machine. That would be great. A lot more people are choosing to use the Smith machine. It's safer and you won't get injured As much. Do to so many interactions with the smith machine. This causes, lots of maintenance on this machine. The cables start to be unbalanced for some reason. Thank you, for reading this. I hope, I have added to all the other great reviews given.

The Edge is THE best gym in CT. I was an original member of the Danbury location. The one in riverside is good just a few things you should know before you go. -Charge for water fountain cups -Towel service extra fee -sauna always cold (make sure you pre heat yourself) -Don’t ask to use any of their equipment behind the cage -No barbells on turf -No sled -Can’t take shoes off to lift (even though I saw someone walking around barefoot the other day) -basically no having fun

I like my experience there overall. I do think they could have a few other pieces of equipment out near the stretching area like the fitness balls. They are either too big or the smaller ones are often too deflated. The staff that greets me on a regular basis are great. There are a few that don’t make any effort to smile or talk to people despite my being a regular. I think it’s the staffs job to smile and genuinely get to know people and be more approachable. Some of the staff needs to work on that. For the most part I’m happy with what they offer.
