The YWCA has everything I want. Roomy. Even on crowded days( kids for swimming and such) I still don't feel overcrowded. Friendly staff. Sorry to hear they're becoming YMCA. Wonder what will be lost. Current daycare? Senior classes?

Looks brand new! Lovely building and top rated facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. I highly recommend this YWCA.

Great!!! So, now my kids 8 and 9 are scared of the police!!!! Never imagined in my wildest dreams at 42 I’d be confronted with being removed from the ywca by the police in front of my children!!!! So if you want a place to try and take your kids to swim indoors - DONT! The first time my girls were yelled at by the lifeguard for using the boogie boards as a flotation device , ( I even explained they had been allowed prior as we this wasn’t our first visit here , to which he replied well some other life guards don’t follow the rules but I do!) now mind you the second time they were splashing on a rope and or in a lane , honestly I lost count by the fourth or fifth time he had involved an aerobics instructor ( both these people obviously stood there and targeted us , literally like they were the elementary kids!) she proceeds to watch until finally my daughter jumps off the next to last step on the ladder , they had already been screamed at for sitting on it , or near it!!!!!! I mean your screaming at my children for splashing in a pool???!!!! I wasn’t feeling well so when she got into my face standing above me over me I asked her to back up out of my face as I’m still sitting on the bleachers trying to watch my kids who are now crying scared to death of this lady on a power trip!!!!! Tells me she is calling the cops on me for not giving her my name ! I’m now deferred from the ywca after paying a 6 month membership as well as the police putting on file a criminal complaint when I should have been the one filing !!!!! At 42 years of age with no prior police involvement and over 500 ribbons and trophy’s from swimming on the team at the ywca for 15 years of my life . I’m appalled !!!!! Needless to say this world is hard and cruel enough that our children have to grow up in!!!!! I asked for the video of the behavior of the staff to be addressed , I would also like my name cleared as I’m the one still sitting , I didn’t appreciate getting yelled at and spit on by her standing over me and screaming into my face!!!!!! If you are looking for an outlet for your children to go and release some every , I’ll say this , the ywca is NOT the place to spend your money!!!!! In closing I’ll say OUR poor children !!

After 20 years, it is great to be back with some old friends at the new fitness center, and the new Executive Director Melissa Leathery is a welcomed vessel of positive change that makes a point to listen to members.

The time I went there for a morning workout was ok, but when they changed the morning time, it threw off my schedule.

Julie is an amazing yoga teacher! I thoroughly enjoy her classes. She is very knowledgeable and brings helpful hints into every class which can be used in daily life which I use to improve the quality of my life. With her non-judgmental presence she connects with her students easily. She teaches for all levels so if a person needs more challenge she offers how to do that, or if they can’t get into a certain pose she suggests gentler ways to do it. My core and legs feel stronger since I started doing yoga with her 5 months ago. My body/mind always feel better, more open, relaxed and balanced after every session. What a gift!

I love Gettyoga! Julie Aha is such a gentle, peaceful yet powerful soul who explains how and why we do a pose or mantra. I was new when I started a few years ago and I feel like I have learned so much. Her Yoga for all Levels classes allowed me to come as a newbie and not feel uncomfortable learning. That same class still challenges (and brings me peace) today. This weekend I took the Restorative Sound Yoga with Julie and Julia - oh my gosh, so very good. I work a job that challenges me mentally and emotionally, this 1.5 hours of sensory release was amazing and provided stillness and calm. I slept so well last night. I really appreciate having this priceless resource available in our community - it helps keep me healthy, which helps me keep those I care for healthy!!

This is easily my wifes and my favorite yoga class in the area. Julie's experience shows. Her practice as she guides you through it has an intent behind it. You can tell that she has a purpose in mind for the students' improvement. The class has a structure to it that allows Yogi's to follow easily even when poses get difficult. The structure allows students to increase or decrease the difficulty of the pose for their level or energy as they see fit, something Julie encourages and embraces. I just really love the feel of the class, the instruction and the acceptance of everyone to two new Yogi's.

Excellent place. I have been taking yoga lessons for the past 3-4 months and the class I'm taking is a delight. A lot of meditation, breathing exercises and adequate level of stretches, just what I needed at this point for a pre-natal yoga class. Julie has an amazing energy and transmits it in every lesson. I'm looking forward to take other classes at the center in the upcoming months.

Went to a yoga class here through work. The instructor was amazing. I took my son and he said it he never had a yoga class like that before and wanted to go back. The class was both physical and meditative but in a way that invited you to only put in what you were able.
