Worst place everrrrrrrr WITHOUT MS ERNISTIN THE PLACE IS RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL VERY SUPER RUDE THEY NEED TO LEARN MANNERS JASMIN WHO TAKEN Over temporarily is doing an OK job can’t complain, but the rest of the staff members working there are so Lazy they act like they can speak to you any type of way whenever they want to and that’s not OK I witness A lot of fraud in between staff, they were taking the children’s social and claiming them in their taxes. Also, this place is to be able to help women and children, especially families and for you to treat them after going through so much trauma the way I think I could treat anybody else please have some more compassionate or go back to training because yeah I need a lot of training, especially manners respect this place is going out of control without Miss Ernestine and I hope she recovers soon because this is getting out of line and this is very unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint and if I have to take legal actions I will we need justice for the families that actually need the help and you guys are turning your backs on every family that is just wild to me. I also spoke with the director and she’s meddling with the funds as well.

Horrible at informing clients for closures wait until people get to door to find out gym closed for 4 days for labor day no gym closes for 4 days and no gym charges 51 a month

Not even 24 hours later, a housing director and senior director talks to me today and now I have to leave for when they tell me to open up about my problem. Instead of addressing, the harassment even about how I can't be on my room and have peace cause everything I say or do in my own privacy is being talked about. They wanted to put the worker in the room with me and try to twisted it around and say if they can't say in the neighboring room as if they don't have no more space, then I need to get out. Meanwhile the other person who also in on it have an extra room open and they wouldn't put them together. Once again young women be mindful. Only been here for three months and for two months everyday been taking it and now being an example.

The building is always clean and orderly, workers have been efficient to correct rooms details and check on your well being. However, fare warning to young women even with children who comes here if you have a problem within the building, they would use connections for welfare, job centers and housing against you and slow down your process. If you are not close to certain staff and they are close to certain clients especially those who don't like people with immigrant decent, you will be treated indifferent when trivial things arise. It's your word against theirs even if you keep to yourself. They have old staff members coming and going and they can talk to you in any manners because they feel entitled. It's disappointing and unjust coming from a person who believes everyone should be treated with equal value. In addition, they would use dhs to follow you if they feel like you are not a fit parent when they talk to you.

YMCA -Elizabeth - Excellent daycare and teachers. Lisa, the director is great to work with. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. My niece arrives every morning with a smile on her face and happy to see her teachers. We have seen an amazing growth with her learning and general behavior. I highly recommend the Elizabeth location.

This review is for the gym that is located at 12 Centre St in Elizabeth. If I could give this gym zero stars, i would. It seemed pretty convenient because it’s so close to home but as time passed I started to see how bad of a gym it is. For starters, their equipment is really old. There’s at least 2-3 machines out of order on a weekly basis. Since it’s located in a crowded community, it gets really full. It is not a clean gym. Expect to go to the women’s bathroom and not find hand soap or paper towels. I wanted to take a shower so many times but that’s almost impossible to do since they have curtains instead of doors for the showers. These curtains open with the slightest gust of wind. The staff is unprofessional with the exception of Claudia who I believe is the AM supervisor. She’s really nice. The manager, Mike, is very rude. If you have any complaints, don’t bother talking to him as he will dismiss your concerns. His solution to everything is to ask if you would like to cancel your membership. The training system they have is a joke. They want to charge $40-$45 dollar sessions with a trainer who does the bare minimum. You’re better off just looking of YouTube videos and training yourself. The ventilation system in this gym is horrible. It gets so humid in the summer and the smell is unbearable. They also do not have on site parking. If you park in the back, make sure you bring change as it’s meter parking. Overall, I regret ever setting foot in this gym. Please shop around even if you have to drive farther to a different gym.

Someone went into my backpack and took all my money, so I reported it and they did not even look at the cameras… “we believe to know who it is, we have no proof tho” that’s what they told me.

Let me tell you something if you want to lose weight, this is the place to be!!! I started working out here about 2 months ago, and with the support and motivation from the trainers I am finally losing weight. They offer classes throughout the day starting at 5 am so the gym is able to fit your schedule. Chino, Greg, and Jaime are the 3 trainers there, and they are all phenomenal. The classes are fun, and energetic. The music played during class gets you pumped, and the vibe is family oriented, I love it here, and plan on staying around for a loooooong time!!!!

I’ve started in 2019 with their group classes and haven’t looked back since! Chino & all the other trainers are very knowledgeable and supportive. After the group classes I tried 1 on 1 strength training and then went to compete at a power lifting meet with chino as my trainer. The environment and support is unmatched! Only trainer I recommend to my friends and family!

This Muay Thai training studio is doing a great job teaching my daughter, who is classified under the autism spectrum, self defense. The head instructor Juan is very patient with her but pushes her to expand her limits. She is doing great under his instruction. Thank you Juan for this great school!

Elizabeth NJ Metro Club is a mess. They don't give you a copy of the contract and then you find out that you have to pay not only the monthly fee of $33.00, but also the maintenance of the gym which is $49.00 plus taxes, maintenance that is not seen, because it is a gym where most of the time the machines are out of service. The seats of the machines are worn and broken. It is a dirty place and if you want to leave, they charge you even more. There is no manager to talk to, only a girl or a boy who sometimes has no idea about anything serves you. And if you call the phone number, they never answer. I’m out! !! Don’t waste your money and time there. PDA: There are better gyms than this one and the same monthly price and no surprises. Bigger, cleaner, with good machines, with a pool and saunas.

This has to be the nastiest, most disgusting and embarrassing place in the history of all gyms. If you want to achieve a goal, forget about it, the equipment is 90% broken. The mats are nasty and smell like burnt flesh. The trash bins have their mouths open, so everytime you walk by you will be slapped with the nastiest smell around that area. The lockers 90% are broken. The steam room stinks because of old wood mixed with sweat. The showers never work. The floor is so dirty, you’d rather walk in a garbage factory and feel more clean. The staff are mostly very friendly but some are so miserable, no smile, no welcome, nothing. This place needs new management and a new look because the location is amazing, it’s just the inside that really matters.

I don’t know who is owner here but I think he didn’t check what is going on inside. the yoga mats are in the worst condition - dirty and broken. they really need to be changed. if you are too sensitive you can get a rash after a workout on them. 2 years ago here was PIYO classes and I really enjoyed them and the trainer. sad that now everywhere is a lot of Zumba only. some of training apparatus look horrible. I post a picture here one week ago of the leg curl equipment , and no it is repaired. Aliluia one good thing 😁 glass in one room stays broken 2-3 weeks already and they put scotch on it. it is not very clean. I can’t wait to finish this year and to change to another gym

The location is hidden compared to other planet fitness locations I’ve been to. The people in the counter were helpful and friendly. It seemed like the space was a bit smaller compared to other locations I’ve been to.

I have been going to this gym on and off for the last 7 years and this gym has gradually gotten worse and worse throughout the years. Every time I go to the gym the place is packed to the point where no machines are available yet the "crowd meter" is always at 2-3 dashes. It would be great if the "crowd meter" would be accurate to what it's actually like. Some machines have been broken for over a month with no sign of them getting fixed. The weight racks are often empty because members do not re-rack the weights and staff says or does nothing about it. Teenagers often run around the gym, arm wrestling on top of garbage cans without staff saying or doing anything about it. I remember there was a time with this franchise when an alarm would go off if weights were dropped. A lot has changed throughout the years.

Customer service is always really good and the bathrooms are clean. However, this gym is often very crowded. Using smith machines is almost impossible on any weekday. There’s also often a lot of machines broken at the same time that will stay broken for weeks at a time. Question: Did the Elizabeth location reopen yet? I also don’t think it’s fair that we were charged for the membership this month despite not being able to use the gym majority of the month.

Today I came in the gym, after completing 1 set I stopped to turn on some music in my ear pods. While searching through my phone to find a good playlist 1 of the employees walked over and asked, "How many more sets you got?" I responded with, "Not sure, I just got here." The employee then asked, "Well, why are you on your phone." At this point I'm wondering if there is nothing else that this employee can be doing other than harassing me? I advised him that I'm allowed to be on my phone, and now that I've answered his question and he could leave me alone. He then towered over me in an aggressive manner stating, "I work here, and I can ask you what I want!" At this point I stand and advise him to just leave me alone. The manager then comes over and says that I will have to come to the front. Once at the front, she says that I can no longer work out at this location. After I attempted to explain what happened she stated that I should leave or she would call the cops. Once the cops arrived, the manager lied and stated that this isn't the 1st time that this has happened with me, which was a LIE because I had only recently started my membership with Planet Fitness and even more recently started coming to this location. After I spoke with the cops other members came to me stating that this particular employee always harasses African Americans at this location and that they only come to this location temporarily because the Linden location is currently under renovation. I'm appalled at this interaction and the way of which it was handled. There is no regard for the customer and no accountability for employees.

Showed up to the gym and was randomly met with a sign on the door that the gym is closed for a few weeks. I’m moving back to my hometown and requested a transfer to my old club and customer service informed me that the Elizabeth team is unreachable. It’s been 2 weeks of following up and calling (and being unable to workout at my home gym) and I finally spoke to “Tom” from customer service yesterday & his “leadership” manager who said he’ll put in a “force transfer” since the Elizabeth upper management is unreachable during these unforeseen circumstances, yet the transfer still hasn’t happened. I was told they are outsourced and cannot help and can only escalate and re-escalate tickets, until someone from Elizabeth or upper management actually does their job and transfers my account. It is ridiculous that PF cannot be reached directly and that customers need to go through an outsourced liaison. You guys didn't hesitate to take the annual fee out of my account this morning, yet I’ve been calling non stop for 2 weeks about a simple transfer that I cannot do myself online and have no access to a gym. My husband's account was transferred the same day he called, and yet here I am with the same account and no one is getting back to me. I’m an actively paying member (for YEARS) who has never missed a payment, so someone needs to transfer my membership, otherwise I’m quitting. The quicker I can be done with this specific location, the better. UPDATE: I just emailed your email address below, as requested. 8/1/24 @ 6:37pm.
