Best Gym near East-stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

A little biased because my mom’s the owner BUT … my first time working out here and I definitely plan to come back every time I visit. There’s tons of weight machines, some older, some new, and all definitely got the job done and then some. They have a peloton, tons of cardio equipment, TVs, and magazines. Not crowded either so you can feel safe working out without too many people breathing in the same space. They also have a ton of sanitizer sprays you can carry with you to the machines you’re using.

Played pickleball here with some family and had a great time! The facility has a gym and tennis courts plus showers. All indoor courts. Seems the fans weren’t working so it was a bit warm inside, but Mo helped us out with racquets and they have balls available for rent, too. Wish I could have gone here more than once on this trip!

I wanted to tour the facility and inquire about a membership here, but the front door was locked with only member access. There was no one sitting at the front desk. I tried calling several times without any luck.

I was visiting for the weekend and booked a private lesson with Tim. He is a great instructor. He tweaked a few things and knew not to change too much. We worked on a few tactical things as well. He was also very nice, and we even started a little early. Would highly recommend to my tennis friends who come up here. It did take a few days for someone to get back to me, and I did call a few times.

Great place in the middle of East Stroudsburg. High level tennis instructions with one of the best tennis coaches in the area. Awesome full service gym. Excellent spot for indoor Pickleball for beginners and advanced play. 4 pickleball courts on a perfect tennis grade surface with good lighting.

I reached out to Bodyworks Wellness Studio to book a private yoga session at the house rental we had for my friend's bachelorette party and it was such a great experience! We had all different levels of yoga goers and our instructor Val knew how to put together the perfect class for everyone. It was the best way to start our Saturday morning. I highly recommend booking them for any private sessions!

Three friends getting together looking for a last minute unique experience..walked in and ULeesa was able to book a sound therapy session in the salt cave for the next day! We all three enjoyed the experience! Felt relaxed & peaceful. Highly recommend for something out of the box. Ask for ULeesa !!

To the owner that responded to my review and said, "it's not fair". Not once did you offer a solution to a customer that was loyal. What isn't fair is that my daughter loved going there and when she went back to ask if her necklace could be fixed, you said NO. That wasn't fair to her! She takes pride in her crystals & jewelry so, imagine how she felt. As I mentioned the studio is beautiful and the young lady that works there is great but unfortunately WE had several bad experiences with the jewelry.

Disappointed. My sisters, daughter and I went there often. We loved the ora, the crystals, the staff, it was peaceful and welcoming. After a few visits and purchases we noticed the bracelets and necklaces began to tarnish, break, and discolor. We brought it to their attention and sadly they did nothing to help. We continued to go back because we loved the place. Yet, purchases kept disappointing us. We had hope but to many items went bad.

Our three year old son recently starting taking classes at Impact Martial Arts and he loves it there. The staff members are attentive, patient, knowledgeable and kind. We look forward to watching our son grow and learn as a student there.

After having our son try sports for a while and him telling us "sports just aren't my thing" my wife and I looked around to try him help find what his thing might be. We came across Impact Martial Arts and figured we should give it a try. After the first trial night we all knew we found his thing! It took about 2 weeks of watching him in his class for my wife and I to half jokingly say to each other, "Hey, this looks like fun, maybe it could be our thing too?" lol. Well we joined and I can tell you it definitely is! As an adult I know it can seem a bit intimidating and embarrassing to start something new like karate in front of complete strangers but if you are at all interested in trying something new and challenging you should really give them a try. All of the owners and instructors are extremely happy and ready to help you at all times! From our sons class (9 years old), to our class (how dare you ask our age), it is a great overall learning experience with amazing and talented group of people!

Our kids have been going to Impact for 1 1/2 years. We have been very happy both before and during the pandemic. The senseis are all great and we've been happy with the physical and disciplinary progress they have made.

My son started going to Impact Martial Arts on October 3rd. He LOVES it. He’s a very shy kid and it takes him a while to warm up to people but Sensei Chris and Sensei Corey make him feel so comfortable that he’s slowly but surely started to talk to them! He gets so excited when he’s told it’s karate day. He’s in the tiny tigers (3-4yr olds) so he gets to go up to 4 times a week and when he advances to the next class they have even more days available. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They offer a 2 week free trial so if you’re even thinking about this place, definitely try it out - you’ll love it!

Impact Martial Arts is the best karate studio around. My girls look forward to going every week. The sensei's are caring and help all children in this family-centered dojo.

Steph & the other teachers at this school are incredible. They have fast response time, easy to understand assignments, detailed notes, and a wonderful community of other yogis to learn from. I would 1000% recommend this school to others!

I applied for the scholarship twice for the 200 hr training and wrote the essay , twice I was told they didn’t receive it when they responded back to the same email it was sent from

Clean, sanitized, and well-organized environment One of the staff/employees are nice, friendly, courteous, respectful, and helpful Gym equipments are always well equipped and maintained Retro is the best gym that I ever went to and I enjoyed it!

SCAM: Filled out their form online for a free one day trial, only to be told they don't honor those trials since its the franchisee' discretion-- even though online it stated the opposite. If you aren't going to honor the trial, then clearly state that online instead of the opposite. It plainly reads the Marshall's Creek location participates in the free trial promo (this is a blatant attempt to get peoples' information and to have eager gym-goers visit their establishment so that they can upsell them). I'm a big gym guy, if the gym was clean and well-maintained (which it looked like it was) i'd be a customer...but not with these deceiving tactics. The guy at the front was nice and informative, though. At least that's one positive.

A++ equipment, great location with plenty of parking, safe covid guidelines in place, hands-free check in and temperature scan and tons of hand sanitizer. VERY affordable gym membership prices and great value, would gladly pay more :)

Loved this gym. Came in with a guest pass, check in was very easy. Ava at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Gym is very well equipped and maintained.

Great staff!! They are friendly and courteous. Machines are always working and clean.

Jen is the best. Every yoga class I feel at such peace and welcomed. It’s fun and easy. She offers different types of classes and fun events. It really helps with flexibility, strength and destress, definitely try it out!
