Best Gym near Clearfield, Pennsylvania

Had a great time at the kayak rolling class. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and modern.

My 6 daughter year old daughter was abused by staff the ceo wanted me to apologize I refused and kicked me out don't bring your kids there if you care about them

They have very little to do here and the staff is kind of lazy. Equipment is old and dirty some are just fixed with tape and there own ways to fix it. No steam room, no child fun zone, 3rd floor is like a horror movie from the 80’s. The pool is small and the lifeguards seem to just sit around hardly watching sometimes reading a book…. We moved from the area and didn’t realize how dated this location was until now! If I were to go back I’d never think of the ymca for my kids.. out here they have everything and more and the classes are free with your membership. They utilize the apps and online courses. Inviting when you walk in and salutations on the way out. People cleaning all over the place to keep it nice! This location in Clearfield and surrounding areas need to step it up a bit and try harder. Almost forgot that basically every time we went the basketball team had the gym and no one was watching the 2nd gym area.

I just started going there for pickleball. I understand they offer a lot of programs... especially for "seniors".

Started off great when they opened and the past year - year and a half has gone down terribly to the point it seems like they try to make it terrible. Have been walked in on in the restroom due to the doors not latching / locking, never any staff here during hours there should be, one restroom door that’s been hanging off the hinges for months and months, no soap in restrooms, lack of cleaning if it even gets cleaned at all, always out of supplies, and even has not been toilet paper… yes toilet paper for the past 7 days and counting while there’s a dollar general 50 yards away (put up a sign saying to use paper towels?!). And last… well I’m sure it will not be last but they charge a “club enhancement fee” every other month or so on top of membership for all of this lovely enhancing they do.

I’ve been having issues with my payments for months and can’t get anybody to fix it. They randomly will charge you $200 and not do anything about it. My contract will be up in march and I will not be going back here. Inside the gym is normally a mess, no toilet paper or paper towels, clearly nothing has been wiped down.

If I could give zero stars, I would. For the price this gym charges, you’d think they could at least provide basic amenities. There’s never any toilet paper in the bathrooms, the door knobs are broken, and there’s no soap in any of the bathrooms—which is downright unhygienic. On top of that, the treadmills are covered in dust, like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. It’s clear that cleanliness and maintenance are not a priority here. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is a joke.

I have been a member of this gym since it first opened, and I am highly disappointed in the direction it has gone in the last several months. There is rarely any staff working during normal hours. I can count on one hand how many times I have seen someone in that front office in the past two months. The upkeep is atrocious. The floor over by the dumbells is coming up, causing a tripping hazard. The door to one of the bathrooms needs to be fixed, and it has been like that for quite some time now. There has been numerous times when there is nothing available to wipe down the equipment. Also, I was just charged an enhancement fee of $19.99. What exactly are we enhancing here? This gym isn't anything but a cash cow for the owner, who can just sit back and make money with zero effort. My suggestion, find staff who actually cares about the gym, sell the gym to someone who cares about running a gym, or fix the issues. I know I will get the generic response from the owner, probably even have my membership canceled. I like this gym, and pay for a membership just like everyone else. I think it's just fair to provide us with a decent place to workout.

Got a membership online a week ago and still have no key to get in, I tried calling during buisness hours and no answer. I even tried going to the gym in person with NO STAFF present during their supposed "staffed hours" this gym is a joke. Yeah sure, lock me into a 24 month contract and don't even let me enter the gym. Don't waste you're money here.

3 is too low but 4 is too high. Old but functional equipment. Great price.

The owner is very nice, the selection of equipment is to die for and the area is kept very clean! 10/10 I would recommend!
