If you're in the Chino Hills area and looking for a gym, DO NOT COME HERE. This is the worst 24-hour fitness I've ever been to, which is shocking for being in a nice area such as Chino Hills. I've been going to this gym consistently for the past year, and it just seems to get worse. Take your business somewhere else or to the LA Fitness right down the street. The bathrooms are horrendous and always have yellow mold growing in the sinks, toilets, and probably all over the floors/showers. The sauna drain has been clogged for 1 month now, collecting everyone's sweat in one convenient puddle for everyone to step around and hopefully not slip and cause injury. This may even include the sewage content. No wet floor signs in sight (or should i say sweat floor signs?)The mens bathroom mirror is broken and has cardboard covering it. I don't know how this place is even still open with health and safety being at risk. The gym equipment is very outdated, and there's ALWAYS machines out of order for extended periods of time. I've complained mutiple times to management that 2-3 of the stair masters are always out of order and the ones that are crossed off for maintenance have issues with the chain which causes them to slip at higher speeds and causes the steps to spin uncontrollably, even if you hit stop/pause. This gym is a joke and disgusting.

I've been wanting to write a review ever since my encounter back in May, but have been on the fence about it as I didn't want to call anyone out publicly and never have, but I've changed my mind. I'm going to be as unbiased as I can be and give a review on three different aspects. The gym itself It's not perfect, as many people have pointed out. It's dirty and people leave weights everywhere. Bathrooms are unclean and smell like crap. There's a lot of equipment and machines available, but there are some days where it is busy, and the equipment you want to use is occupied by someone else. Still, for the price I pay, it's still worth it. 4/5 The people There were a couple instances at the gym where I did lose my stuff or forget to take it with me. 9/10 the people that find my belongings return it to the front desk. Huge respect to them for being decent human beings. It's my fault for forgetting to take my belongings with me after finishing a machine and going on to the next one, but there are truly scummy people that frequent the place. I've heard that there are car break-ins that happen outside in the parking lot. There were some instances where someone took my keys once and my airpods twice, but I was able to get my keys back. Most of the people here are great but be careful of the scummy ones. I now stay vigilant and either put my belongings in the lockers or keep track that I don't leave my belongings after I'm done with a machine. 3/5 The staff Main reason why I wrote this review. Someone took my airpods and car keys. I reported this to the manager at the time, Steven, and he told me I needed a police report case number to look at the surveillance. I did and came back the next day to give him the case number. A few days later, I find my keys and airpod case in the lost and found. I think Steven played a part in getting my items back from the thieves. Fast forward about a year later, someone takes my airpods again. I am familiar with the process and get a police report case number to give to the manager. It turns out Steven has left this location, so I went to give the card to the other manager. I don't know if it was because of my race, my appearance, or the fact that that he had to cut his conversation with a young girl short to talk to me, but this manager looked like he hated me from the start. He looked irritated and was giving me the side eye when I told him about the stolen airpod situation. Very unprofessional and rude. Possibly the most unprofessional manager I've ever encountered. I called him out on his BS and told him to kick rocks. The associate was able to help me the rest of the conversation. News flash, if the associate knows more about customer service and professionalism than the manager, you're letting the wrong people be in charge. It looks like they found this bum off the streets and gave him this position. Plus, I'm pretty sure he's in charge of managing the place, which explains why the gym looks like a dump (as other people have complained as well). Do better, 24. Happy New Year, and here's to hoping that this bum isn't employed at the gym for 2025 and beyond. 2/5 (I'm not giving it 1 star because the associates were professional and helpful, something the manager Elijah lacks)

While in the area, I decided to squeeze in a quick workout at this particular 24 Hour Fitness location. Upon arriving on a Monday at 8 am, I must say that the place was incredibly busy. It was not only tough to navigate but also a challenge to find an available machine. The gym itself is quite small, with machines placed very close to each other. Even trying to move around the gym was difficult as there was only one pathway, causing delays. Feeling uncomfortable, I left after just 10 minutes and drove less than 3 miles to L.A. Fitness. Unlike the previous gym, L.A. Fitness had terrible parking but offered 2-3 of the same machines, providing a less crowded environment. I recommend requesting a free pass before deciding on which gym to join.

Bathrooms, sauna and steam room are seriously neglected when it come to cleanliness. Bathrooms stink, floors are dirty not sure when was the last time soap was used, can’t stand in front of urinals very long due to the the toxic smell, why not pour a little bleach every now and then.

Very unprofessional management. Came in for a simple day pass for a friend and it terminated in a 20 minute conversation with the manager desperately trying to convince us to sign up for a membership. Gym has a funky smell and poor equipment. LA fitness down street is a lot better option.

Terrific studio! I love the online system for booking bikes and class times that can suit any schedule. The studio is very clean and has top-of-the-line equipment. And the instructors are extremely nice and welcoming to newbies...like myself! A great place to spin!

Can’t find it and number doesn’t work. I think it’s a fake post. The picture is of “the dirty penguin” coffee place and an electrical storage room.
