Best Gym near Chino, California

Clean environment, nice equipment, hot sauna, basketball, raquecball, free weights, friendly staff!

Average, there's some bozos both dirt bag members and workers but I guess that's the difference between this and some premium places like Equinox or Orange Theory... I'm guessing even better cities with Planet fitness

This gym is horrible from the staff to the actual experience. People in here are rude and the gym itself is small. If you really want a good workout you need to go early between 5-8am or between 9-11pm. They don’t have enough equipment, lacking in certain areas especially employee etiquette. Only good thing here is the sauna.

This gym does not have any sanitizing wipes. They’re rare. When asked when they’ll have more, Cristian the manager said “before covid all you guys had to bring was a towel so I’m just gonna give you a towel” … with Covid and other diseases spreading easily through sweat, sanitizing wipes are a must and are mostly available at all gyms. Real disappointment. You guys need to do better. I’m considering switching gyms. Smells gross in here.

ZERO STARS. absolutely unacceptable to even step foot in here. Me and My mom went here and the The lady at the front said that we were good to go, and that my daughter could come with me Even after I offered to pay so then we went upstairs and started working working out, and the manager comes and cusses me and my daughter out telling us to get out and calling us stupid. When confronting the lady at the front she denied even speaking with me and my daughter. This is completely unacceptable and I have ever encountered.

I called this location super early in the morning to ask a couple questions about the $1 promotion for the classic and was greeted with the most pleasant person! I believe her name was Mariah. She was very helpful and good energy for such an early call requesting info. Definitely not someone to leave reviews but felt she was deserving of it. Glad to be back at this location! Thank you Mariah!

I was there on 10/21/24 at around 4:30. Arguably the best PF location I’ve ever been to in SoCal. Huge gym, never overcrowded, immaculate and the front desk staff are friendly.

Planet fitness has a lot of equipment to choose from. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. Most is all I appreciate the cleanliness of the gym and the equipment. I highly recommend Planet Fitness. Chino

Great place! My daughter loves her gymnastics class with Mr. Zack. She's also in a hip hop dance class too on Monday's at 530pm. There's 2 buildings to accommodate plenty of classes. So both of her instructors have been friendly & helpful. It's great to have this place close to home with a variety of timeslot options.

My daughter Sofia came here for 8 years and loved it. The instructors were great and learning how to hip hop really boosted her self esteem. She loves dancing and learning from all the great instructors at Talent Factory.

I used to go here and my coach harassed me, destroyed my self esteem and was very exclusive and rude. She always favorites people and it was obvious that she was putting all the people she like in one group. I thought it was just me until one day when the teacher put us into groups and i was with 2 sisters which were also disliked by the teacher and they thought the same about her. The teacher literally laughed at what i wore every time. She also sabotaged me into missing a performance because she told me it was a week after that date. I never understood why they got so many trophies because nobody there had a pinch of talent

Bridget started hip hop classes here few months ago and the young man that teaches this class is very talented and makes it really fun for everyone. Bridget loves its.

Great place. Very organize, clean, and responsable.

So disappointed in this place. We have been in recreational gymnastics for a couple years in costa mesa at another place. My daughter was interested in doing more gymnastics so signed her up here also. We started and to make a long story short it was a huge waste of time and money. We went several months. My daughter didn't learn one new thing or grow in any way. They have young girls who are also the coaches running it at least on Saturdays when we were going. The problem is the girls are too inexperienced to run it successfully. The communication was terrible. They would close for competition not inform parents and we would all show up and doors were locked. My daughter was in a class with 3 year olds that were on a completely different level and skills so she was doing things such as learning tucks when my daughter can do back hand springs. It's super clicky both on the girls/parents side. Every week they would forget who my daughter was and put her in the wrong group. We went for several months hoping for a better experience eventually because this place had great reviews. It was just such a frustrating experience. And such a waste of time and money. So glad we are still at our other place. In the same time frame my daughter learned many new skills and they want her to succeed. They care about her unlike this place.

Camp Chino is AMAZING!!! The owners welcomed us in within minutes of us being there!!! The trainers have great workouts, push us to work our hardest, and help us with our form when we can improve our technique and performance. Super clean and enough equipment for any workout!!! Neang and I had a blast!!! My only regret is I had to go back to work and missed Gino's Friday morning workout that my wife absolutely loved!!! Thank you Camp Chino for a great experience and being a great example of including and showing love to the AFF!!! We will be back!!!

The staff is always so welcoming and each of them put in the effort to get to know you/your fitness goals. They have a variety of equipment/more than enough free weights. It’s always clean and detail oriented. They provide easy access to cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment. The classes are challenging, but manageable for all. Each trainer is outstanding and encourages their team to have a positive mindset! Overall The CAMP makes it easy to get into the gym 😊

First gym I felt comfortable going to. All the trainers are real cool and so are the other gym goers. The equipment is up to date and in great condition

I love this gym!! The trainers are all very knowledgeable and friendly. The workouts are always different and it never gets boring. They also customize exercises if you have an injury! Def recommend, there’s something here for everyone ☺️

Sent here for physical therapy for my lower back. 5 sessions later and my back hasn't felt this good in a long time. Thank you central care. Felt I had the opportunity to work with the entire team. The care and compassion that the entire team has for their patients/clients is wonderful and consistent with everyone that helps and assists you. My first time to need some physical therapy my health insurance sent me here. My initial consultation with Bao BP Nguyen Doctor of Physical Therapy was absolutely outstanding. Clearly Bao knows his stuff. Off the bat he knew exactly what was wrong with me. His professionalism and emphatic approach to his patients and humor is a breath of fresh air. I felt like I am not just another patient. He went through all stretches and massages and his instructions was very clear and easily to understand so I can do it at home. The staff also was equally great from reception to all the PT assistants. Never had to wait took me in immediately. I am absolute positive I would not get the same treatment if I went to my insurance hospital or PT department. Bottomline I feel much better and able to go about my day with less pain. Highly recommended.

I love this gym so much. After moving to SoCal, I was looking for a new place for my fitness journey, and I’m so happy I walked through these doors. I’ve been to a lotttttt of gyms in my life, but never one with so many friendly people and without even a tinge of hubris. It makes a difference- I always feel welcomed and appreciated when I am there. The classes started extremely challenging for me, but I have stuck with it and am starting to see positive outcomes for my health. The training schedule fits well and I’m able to schedule classes around school and work. I’ve been attending consistently for months, and am still surprised by the variety of workouts and professionalism of the staff. Learning a lot! Thank you rec shop for making a gym that feels good to go to 🥰

Where do I start? I have friends that go here so I joined in time for the Restart- spring into shape challenge. The workouts are great and I love how everyone here is like family. The coaches motivate you, more than happy to provide alternate exercises if needed, and make sure to correct your form to prevent any injuries. Everyone is super welcoming and very encouraging of your workout journey. If you want to enjoy working out and start feeling better in your own skin, try REC shop out!

I was visiting California and went to REC Shop during my vacations, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The coaches here are incredibly knowledgeable, always providing valuable insights and guidance during workouts. The gym is exceptionally well-equipped, with top-notch facilities that cater to various fitness needs. What stands out the most is the welcoming atmosphere – both the coaches and fellow members are genuinely friendly and supportive, creating a fun and inclusive environment. I feel safe and encouraged to push myself further in my fitness journey. Definitely a 5 star experience and if you're in the area you need to become a member!

Beyond overdo review I loved every single session and minute at this gym. I was with this gym for around 3 years and was so sad to go. From the staff to the workouts hands down the best gym. They are always striving to make people feel comfortable and having fun while working out. The owner Fani, is so hands on and cares about you as a person. She balances mom life with work life and still makes you feel so important. I can’t thank this gym enough for all they do. Love them all and miss them all.

I started at REC Shop back in September 2021. I feel like my form needed soo much help, along with my physique and confidence. 6 months later, I feel so much better about myself, my eating and working out habits have been healthier and more consistent... I have all the lovely trainers to thank for that! All the trainers are always trying to help everyone be their better and healthier versions.. The environment at REC is always motivating, uplifting, and so friendly! & my favorite thing from is that it is never a dull workout when I'm there! It’s been about little over a year since I joined One Love Fit Club and have been training with the owner/lead trainer Nray, and all I can say is that the goals I had set for myself have been BEYOND crushed. At first I joined just as way to lose weight and to pick up a few kickboxing skills. Now, I have lost over 60 pounds (and counting), I feel stronger than I ever have in the last 10 years of my life, and I can confidently say that I am a Nak Muay (a practitioner of Muay Thai). The blend of workouts that Nray and his team have to offer keeps every kickboxing class and personal training session engaging and gratifying. Now that the new gym is open at the corner of Central/Schaefer in Chino, I could see all that we do elevated to a whole new level. Note: They are offering a $58 Intro Special for 5 classes and a free pair of gloves. I started with an intro special a year ago, and by the first one or two classes, I knew that this was thee place to be at.

I have tried many gyms and trainers over the years but I've never been able to commit to a long term consistent schedule until I joined One Love Fit Club and started personal training with Nray. He's a fantastic trainer who really listens to your needs and is willing to meet you where you're at. He has a great coaching style that is both strict but still really fun, my one hour sessions with him fly by and I'm never bored. He highlights small incremental steps and always celebrates the small victories with you which has really helped to keep me motivated and excited in my fitness journey. One Love Fit Club also has an amazing staff and amazing members. Everyone is super supportive and friendly and I always feel comfortable even when I have no idea what I'm doing in the classes. It's really obvious that all of the coaches and members are very passionate about what they do and love this community that they've built. The facility is super clean, well ventilated and has great equipment. There is ample parking. I cannot recommend this gym enough! If you're looking to get fit, meet great people and have a good time this is the place for you!

I can’t say enough good things about One Love. The gym itself is clean and has a lot of different types of equipment. Though classes are based on cardio kickboxing, they always incorporate strength training using bands, weights, kettle bells, etc. They also have a ring you can use to train Muay Thai if you have shin guards which is really a fantastic workout, and something that not a lot of these kickboxing gyms do. It really makes this place special. I am always drenched in sweat after class and really feel accomplished. The workouts are not easy, but are easily accommodating of those (like myself) who are still learning.The trainers are so friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell everyone here wants their clients to succeed. I’ve definitely seen an increase in my flexibility, strength, and endurance when taking these classes and I’ve lost 30 pounds since I started earlier this year. It’s great stress relief too! Nothing compares to hitting the bag when you want to let some stuff out in a healthy way :) Thank you for everything One Love Fit Club!!

Everyone is so welcoming and takes time to help with any questions and your form.
