Best Gym near Chicago-heights, Illinois

Very clean, up-to-date equipment, nice Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and pool. Cons are they don’t have classes to accommodate working people. It seems they cater to the retired or no longer working sector here. We adjusted their schedule and it’s worse than before. Only class during the week starts at 6pm. The others start at 5 and none of them are ones you can rely on because they don’t repeat more than one day a week. They need personal trainers who appear to walk the talk and teachers who know how to instruct. The yoga class with one guy is NOT yoga. The step and line dance classes will have you confused with the lack of directions rather than sweating. I joined because I thought I would be able to take classes as well as use the equipment. Now I just use the equipment. Management doesn’t seem to care or be responsive to feedback. Not sure that I would renew my membership.

Paid over $100 (not including tip) for an hour massage at their day spa and got 45 minutes. I was on time, actually walked in minutes after the therapist so time wasn't an issue at all. Obvioulsy decreased their tip but pretty insulting since I already pay $70 a month for my gym membership. $200+ a month to an establishment is steep these days. Also I joined with hopes they would re-open the cafe and daycare but that remains closed and the price of membership doesn't budge. Seriously considering canceling soon such a shame because the potential is so high and attainable if they cared.

I am soooo glad I joined!!! CLEAN , RELAXING ATMOSPHERE! Had a great workout and a swam some laps to finish my workout.Best place ever!!!!!!

Not only are you required to go in-person to cancel your membership. A 30-day notice is required to cancel your membership, and you receive another bill even though I am clearly not trying to pay for the services any longer. This TERRIBLE buissnes practice ensures I will never return to this "gym."

Amazing fitness center! You'll find people of all ages getting some type of workout in for the day .They offer several options such as water activities , fitness equipment, several types of exercise classes w/ instructors, spa's , steamroom, and the list goes on. Put it this way simply, they have a lot to offer and are incredibly reasonable as well! The staff and club members are friendly and you can see they enjoy what they are doing.. Washrooms, locker rooms, workout areas, equipment, pool, ...etc. are clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a place to spend a little me time....and or bring a guest or two or three and enjoy the day then you would definitely want to join this club. I highly recommend this organization!!!!
