I absolutely love love love this YMCA!!!! It's very spacious and new and has Everything! And the sauna is always working and a treat! And the steam room is usually working. It's so many places to find a place to workout and they have a indoor track that circles around the workout areas! I think that is so cool, that the track is not in a secluded area. Plenty of gym space, pools, and the child watch is really cool looking for the kiddos. They also offer summer camps at this location during the summers which I love!

The staff of this store deceived a minor child for money and to attract people. When my child went to apply for a gym membership, the staff told her that the 100-yuan membership card was for life, and the monthly membership fee was paid separately. Then they asked the parents who were not good at English to sign. After one and a half months, because the child had no time to go to the gym and did not go after paying the monthly fee, she wanted to terminate it temporarily and not pay the monthly fee to retain the membership. However, the staff said that if you do not go for three months, your membership will be lost. If you go, you have to pay another 100-yuan membership fee! Are you kidding? If the staff told us the rules honestly, we would not apply for membership here. We went to find them several times, but the staff shirked the responsibility by saying the rules. Then why did the staff deceive the child when applying for the card? The manager promised to deal with it after Christmas, but no one has replied until now. I didn't expect that for 100 yuan, this company would do nothing but deceive or ignore. I hope everyone will be careful of the staff who will deceive people when going to this store. They also said that they are a non-profit organization and only want to make money. With such dishonest employees, why don't they explain the rules dishonestly when applying for the card? When shirking responsibility, he kept telling me their rules. Why didn't he tell me earlier? He even lied to the kids and said it was a lifetime membership.

Not the best business practice! We will be out of the country for a month and expect to be able to freeze the membership for a month but no. The payment was processed and they're not willing to apply it to March since we won't be here at all in Feb. If we wanted to show up for free for a month we obviously couldn't but they are happy to keep the money for the month we won't be able to attend at all! That's a shame and very disappointed. Double standards. They need at least 15 days notice before your billing date ( figure that out) to help. Like we don't have a million little pieces that already have to fall in place and track with having the entire family away for a month and the day to day life. With my membership renewal on the 24th I would have needed 15 days prior notice meaning should have told them a month before my travel, thing is I didn't know that we would be gone for a month, a month ago! This shouldn't be so hard to figure out. We are now rethinking the membership and it's a pity as we also take our kids to track out and pay for them too. Why keep the money when you could do the right thing by the principles that you try to perpetuate and simply apply the money to the following month. Not asking for a refund or anything! We opted for this YMCA due to proximity to home but driving and extra 5 min to a different gym might not be the worst idea. The showers and lockers leave a lot to be desired. Showers and shower curtains are full of mildew/mold, fixtures coming out of of the wall, some shower heads with low to no pressure due to lime accumulated. Sauna and steam room need a deep clean as does the entire locker room. Towels are old and small and they limit at 2! At 130lbs in size xs to s I can barely wrap one around me! If you want one to go into the steam room it's soaked and would need another one for showering so forget about one for hair. Hair dryers are old and everything is dusty and none of the attachments fit. There have been some upgrades to the equipment recently but it doesn't make up for the shortfalls. I thought YMCA can do better than this!

Downloaded 7 day trial pass and in town for work. Employer is a major enterprise that provides jobs to the entire community. General manager would not accept free pass if license is from out of state. Do not recommend a community facility that operates with these standards or inability for flexibility with potential future customers or individuals that may relocate for work.

This is not for the branch.. I like this YMCA and have a family membership. Today is 12/17/2024 at 5:45 I tried to join a strength class.. Nothing in the door says that you cannot join if the class already started. I checked with the staff outside and they confirmed that.. I was just trying to check if I can keep up with the pace for few minutes and then show up on time for the next class.. The lady trainer followed me and kicked me out in front of everyone else.. she could have waited till the end of the class and informed me about the rules that are not displayed anywhere and without her microphone on in a room filled with people and with a very undermining tone and I would have understood.. For the money we pay I expect better than this

You'd be hard pressed to see the facility is 12 years old. Great facility, consistently updated equipment, even better team on staff.

I don't know how I should rate it. The facility is good and everything I need is there and staff is nice and helpful. But the next day I signed up I received 20+ spam/scum emails (about Amazon subscription, won an iPad from T-Mobile, etc.) Clearly your system is compromised and there is little to no protection it seems. Summary: I'm happy with the facility and very unhappy that my email is bombarded with the spam now. I wish I knew that's the case and provided temp email.

Great Gym for the locality. Contrary to some of the reviews, I found equipments well maintained in alignment with nationwide chains. There may be more teenagers, though could be a sign of young and healthy Community overall. Pros: Pleasant staff Rock climbing Swimm pool Cons: Only found in some of previous reviews.

You should charge more for memberships, especially for the teenagers who crowd around the machines in the evening hours. You should mend or replace all the torn fabric on the machines. You should stay open later, especially on the weekends. You should get rid of pool reservations on weekday mornings, half the lanes are empty, despite being fully booked.

I have been coming to OTF for over a year and it has been the most rewarding experience. The staff and coaches are very sweet, and always go out of their way to create such a welcoming environment for the members and also to know each member by their names. I have had classes with all the coaches and each one of them are so energetic, knowledgeable about the workouts, and truly encouraging. They really care that each member gets a good workout in the classes. The space is also very clean and the location is so convenient with tons of parking, stores, and shopping. No matter where you are in your workout journey, you will always feel accomplished after the classes:)

I started at Orangetheory almost a year ago. I have never felt stronger and more motivated to work out. The coaches are always encouraging and friendly and help whenever I need to make adjustments due to any injuries I have seen such a difference in my weight as well as my general muscle strength, and I’ve even had comments from my family and friends that I am looking stronger, I’m glad to be a place that routines and workouts that increase flexibility, strength, and endurance . Also, it’s super easy to schedule and the app works really well, so I’m able to complete everything that I need quickly and efficiently would definitely recommend for those looking for a place where they have a coach leading them along workouts.

I’m loving the OTF experience.. especially in your Strength classes (favorite part). I’m able to follow along the workouts, but sometimes I modify 1-2 exercises if I need some rest in between. Coach Deuce is amazing, he not only corrects us if we are doing wrong but also he is a nice human being. My goal is to tone my body & reduce weight(especially arms).

Orange theory is probably one of my favorite workout studios. It is so fast paced and high energy, if you need motivation and want to try and get a strong workout in each day, I highly recommend. I will say, my excitement with orange theory did reach a plateau and with a couple changes my studio made and more to come this year. The coaches are great, my favorite is Meredith Taylor! ( who is a walking human siren ). She knows about each and everyone of them and takes personal care and knows how to push them to their extent. The best people which I can’t complain about, so professional and the flexibility is pretty awesome here.

Excellent instruction, knowledgeable and organized front desk staff, beautiful facility, and welcoming community of members! Visited this studio for a Sunday morning workout with lead Instructor, Duece, and was not disappointed. This studio is doing something special - worth every penny.

Both my kids love the acceleration and ignition programs here. They work hard but they also have fun doing it. Being competitive athletes requires speed/agility/strength supplementary programs the kind Athletic Republic offers, and I would highly recommend them and their training staff.

It is extremely commendable that the team helped my son prepare for the challenge of playing football with such professionalism and firm dedication. They were very aware of his needs and assisted him in strengthening his areas of weakness so that he could perform well. If a parent is looking for a location to start their child's athletic journey, I highly recommend Athletic Republic Cary!

I’ve been to a handful of gyms in the area, but nothing compares to ExPo Life. Not only do they provide a variety of workout equipments and machines, but the customer support and training they provide is unmatched. I highly recommend signing up or at least taking a look at it if you’re looking for a 10/10 gym.
