Best Gym near Carmichael, California

Love the staff but the steam room is always messy. Hot tub is down a lot. But lately they are improving. I look forward to better Update 1/26/2025 The hot tub is mostly closed or shut down ALL the time . It’s been shut down recently again and again and again. Now it’s open back up but green. It’s supposed to be clear. I think I’m getting an infection from using it. I pay $98 a month with my daughter on it. I work thru would be fair and have the right technician. I have a bad knee, I joined the gym 99% for the hot tube and steam room.

There’s a new trainer at this gym – Anna! Had my first workout with her today, and she’s amazing! She explains everything clearly, keeps you motivated, and makes the session super fun. I’m feeling great and can’t wait for the next one!

Like the many cadio machines, theater room is definitely an escape into movie watching while workkng out! Nice to see the outside pool areas with longe chairs and tables. The cycle room is cool too! The sauna was little small for both men & women but useful. Ladies lockers room found some areas were damaged to use the locks. I enjoyef my experience overall :)

The staff is very personable and friendly at the Arden location. I have three sons and they utilize the child care. I have nothing but good things to say about all of the child care staff. They always have activities for the kids and keep them entertained while I workout. The manager of the location Jeff takes pride in his position and maintains professionalism. I can tell that he genuinely cares about the members and staff at his location. I have been coming to this gym for over 13 years and it feels like home.

Gym is pretty decent too many people and not alot of equiqment there is too many threadmills and cardio machines at the back little equiqment for working out instead of the threadmills and stepmill couldve added more equiqments, for actually working out instead. The gym is way to pricy I do not recomend If the gym was bigger the price woulve been worth it. Overall The gym isnt that good.

I recently joined in Shape FF, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The facilities are top-notch, featuring a wide range of equipment from free weights to cardio machines. The space is always clean and well-maintained, which adds to a pleasant workout atmosphere.

Friendly, clean, can get in work out and get out without any issues. Please get new machines. The monthly dues has risen quite a lot in the recent years and still no new equipment. Nicer area locations all have new nicer machines. Member since 1997. I know exactly what I’m talking about. Nice for the whole family to enjoy!

Been coming here for a number of years but I must say the gentleman named Derrick at the front desk is always welcoming with a great smile and even knows me by name. They're very accommodating and always willing to help with any of my needs or concerns.

This is the best gym ive been to in a long time. The gym is never packed, the equipment is well maintained and the staff is friendly.

Always fun! Perfect for my strength and conditioning days. Free weights, racks, pool, CrossFit zone. Feels like my first gym. Thank you, In-Shape!

I am a ninja at this place, and I love it! All the coaches I have had are kind, funny, and they help us out. My old coaches always remember me, and it really makes me feel like I matter. No matter what coach, you always have something in common, and it's wild!!! I highly recommend this place. Thank you to all the coaches for making Fliptastic one of the best gyms I have ever been to!

My kids have been going to fliptastic for two years and we have loved every class that they have been in. This is a great family business and I recommend choosing fliptastic for kids if all ages! There are a variety of available classes/times/days and you can even makeup on a different day of the week if you are unavailable for your scheduled class. Sign your kids up!

I have a 4 yr old, we’ve been coming for a little over a year and I just want to say, Ms Katelyn and Ms Natalie have made the experience exceptional. The patience and dedication is truly admirable. We’ve done gymnastics and lil ninjas and will probably continue to switch back and forth since we enjoy both so much! Highly recommended programs for small kiddos!

We have been so happy with Fliptastic for our son! We really appreciate the variety of class times available. His coach has is so patient and kind with the children and our son has fun. We recently had a birthday party here and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so well organized! They kept everything running on time and that allowed me to just enjoy the party. The parents and children all had a great time as well. Highly recommend having a birthday party here!

This place gives me the creeps with all the spectators taking pics and videos of the students. Last week a teenaged boy walked in, came to the bleachers and just sat...looking around. I asked if his sister or brother was a student there, and he said no, so who was he, and why was he not checked at the front desk? There should be a rule against taking images of someone else's child(ren). And walk-ins should be required to stop at the front desk first before being allowed where the children are. I don't know about all the Trainers, but there's one who is always dressed inappropriately for sessions. More specifically, Bella. She doesn't wear underwear under her see-through leggings, or her shorts are extremely too short for some of the demonstrations she gives. There should be a dress code rule for Trainers. I'm removing my Granddaughter from this gym for these very reasons.
