I wish that this planet fitness was like most in the US, woman wear clothes. I go there to work out and seeing woman in the shortest shorts and bra is ridiculous. I wish management would do something! Going to go ahead and pay the extra money at the YMCA so myself and husband can be comfortable while actually working out! 👊🏻 Not Kid friendly, please don’t bring them!

If I could give this gym no stars I would. I’m not sure if it’s because they hired a bunch of new young kids but I got the hybrid bed (1) to tan in and immediately I walked in the room and felt off. Got in the bed and it felt even worse I then move my leg and I felt dried sweat from someone else. My skin was crawling and I wanted to throw up. Highly disappointed as this was the closest gym to me. I won’t be back! Gibsonia is hopefully better or Cranberry. They are both a lot farther of a drive for me then the butler gym which is a shame and another thing PLEASE BE OPEN ON FRIDAYs and the WEEKEND 24/7. Those are literally the days most people can go anytime. Update I am at the gym and thought well I just won’t use their tanning I’ll just do stand up bed.haven’t used that yet. If I didn’t have to be here I wouldn’t be but so gross.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Gym equipment and all amenities are always freshly sanitized. Cheaper than most gyms. Regularly recommend to friends and family! That being said, despite the crowd meter on the app consistently stating that the gym is only at 20% capacity it’s the busiest gym around, usually filled with people playing on their phones instead of using the machines they are occupying…

This is the first gym that I have ever gone to that I feel welcomed by everyone. The entire staff are very pleasant and always helpful, the gym members themselves are all very kind to each other as well. I purchased the personal training sessions and was set up with Julie. I can’t begin to explain on how much she has helped change my whole life. Through her teachings I have started a complete lifestyle change and with her help I’m already seeing results physically and mentally. I cannot stress enough on how great she is. This also a locally owned gym so it’s also great to know that I’m supporting a small business instead of a giant chain. I plan on being here for a long time and encourage others to check it out.

I was disappointed in my experience and the customer service of BHF. I had to bring up to the front desk person the different promotions going on and inquire about things, rather than them be offered to me. Additionally, I inquired about chiropractic care and massage therapy. The front desk staff said the office manager would call me to get more info on my insurance. I never got a call. The next time I went in I let them know I was never called. She apologized and said the office manager would call me the next day. I was never called. Furthermore, I used my FSA card but was emailed saying it had insufficient funds. I knew it did because I made two purchases with it that week. When I brought it up at my membership cancellation the office manager immediately became defensive saying she wasn’t accusing me, just that’s what comes back. She didn’t apologize or offer to check how the card was inputted. For $40 a month and a small business, I would expect better customer service and a bit nicer equipment.

Been going to BHF for almost a year and really enjoy the facility. As someone who is doing more powerlifting focused training, so my review is coming from that perspective. It's not a powerlifting specific gym but they accommodate such needs very adequately, having a couple racks, benches, various types of barbells, chains, bands, boards etc. There hasn't been a lot of things that I really need that they don't have in some form. The staff, trainers, and other members have never been anything but friendly and helpful. Definitely would reccomend it to almost anyone regardless of your training and fitness needs.

I love this gym since there are staff present at all times, instead of being given a key and going when no one can help you if there's any issue. Friendly staff, with a "daycare" to watch kids which is nice. Good assortment of equipment & classes. Chiropractor & massage therapist there are great too! Clean facility. Would recommend, especially if you're looking to avoid the big name corporation gyms--you get what you pay for!!

Joining Rothrock's Kung Fu is one of the best decisions that I made over 2 years ago. I have to say learning an art that is thousands of years old is a unique and fulfilling experience . There are very few schools in North America that can offer this kind of training. To learn an art that was used by the Chinese to defend their nation and passed down through few individuals is a remarkable experience. This training has helped my physical and psychological well being and has been a great way to manage the stress of my daily life. It also will improve overall health, flexibility, and confidence. By the way my daughter is a client as well!

Taking Tai Chi and Kung Fu was the best decision I ever made for my mental and physical health. Mr. Pagonis is an excellent teacher, and there are lots of options for different classes during the week. They have a very flexible schedule. The classes have a very positive energy, and I've met a lot of friendly people. At 51, Kung Fu is my favorite form of cardio because you get so into the class that you are not even thinking about the workout you are doing. This school provides authentic Tai Chi and Kung Fu, and in class, you begin to understand why you can't learn these ancient traditions from just a DVD. I only wish I started sooner.

A physician in a pain clinic MADE me go to Tai Chi. I was quite resistant Almost 2 yrs later I still really look forward to coming to class. I travel a lot, but no matter. The classes move at an individual pace. I didn’t know that my balance needed lots of work, but Tai Chi is greatly helping. The location is convenient for me and the school is clean and climate controlled. My classmates are friendly and I feel welcomed. Mr. Pagonis is a humble, generous and patient instructor. I want to thank Mr. Pagonis for running such a nice school and Dr. Berthold in Pittsburgh for insisting that I go. You should give it a try.

Taking Kung Fu classes at Rothrock. I've been going to classes for about 4 months now and I love it. I have been involved in sports my whole life and nothing really compares to the challenge and workout you get with Kung Fu. Mr. Pagonis is a great teacher that really knows the techniques thoroughly. Even as a beginner you don't feel pressured to keep up with the more advanced in the class. Only regret is that I didn't discover Rothrock's school earlier.

I swear, every adjustment I get is better than the last. As the world of chiropractic continues to evolve with new techniques and technologies, so does Dr. Ziegler. I drive an hour up from Pittsburgh for continued quality care and service featuring electrostim therapy, soft tissue work, and deep manual adjustments. I’ve had a lot of chiropractic care with “dainty” adjustments, so if you’ve had lackluster care in the past I recommend going to see Dr. Ziegler. I don’t go through insurance personally the cash rates are phenomenal.

Most of the day care ppl don't care about the kids, I have seen some of them yelling at the kids, neglected and not supervised. Rules change all the time and some r not making sense. I'm disappointed in the care my kids receive, there is bullying going on but since they don't watch the kids closely nothing get don't or if the kids defend themselves they get in trouble.

Not the best YMCA I’ve been to, but it’s up there. The pool albeit a bit smaller than most Y pools is well maintained, as well as their locker rooms. The gym is fine with equipment. The courts are also fine. I think this one is great, just not the best.

EDITED: after being at this Y for six months now, my review below still stands. My only big complaint is the music choice blasting in the women’s health center the past several weeks. Classic Rock would be fine, but whatever station they are on plays darker songs with depressing lyrical content. My main goal is relaxation in the whirlpool then meditate in the steam room but it’s a bummer to go back into locker room and hear “Running With the Devil” blasting in my ears at a Christian association. I’m moving to Cranberry soon so it won’t be a problem for me soon. The staff are wonderful, especially the cheery woman who cleans the Y … she’s a delight. Original Review: I love the Butler YMCA! I go between the Cranberry Y and Butler Y but prefer Butler (even though I love the big track in Cranberry) and consider it my “home gym” as it’s close by, fabulous and caring staff, clean facilities, friendly members, a warm locker room and I especially love the dry sauna and steam room in the woman’s health center. I’m healing from adrenal fatigue after a move back home from across the country and healing quickly attending the gym 4 days a week for a walk and a soak in the saunas. Thank you!

A great place to work out. I love the classes. Everyone is friendly and no one care what level you are at. The instructors always offer modifications for each fitness level. My autistic son has also really enjoyed group swimming lessons. Patrick is great with him.

Wow. Trying to provide a gift membership and it's like pulling teeth. You'd think the Y would extend themselves to try to drive membership. Not so. Four calls before I reach a human. Then, told I'll have to come in personally. I'm an hour and a half away. I guess I expected the great service I get at my local Y to extend to all in the region.

Harlan’s Elite Fitness is the best gym in town. $100 gets you a 3 month membership. The gym is 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Employees don’t bother you unless you approach them. This is a place we all are here to better ourselves. In my first three months i went 6 times a week and lost 34 pounds. It’s worth it if you are dedicated to becoming a better you. I couldn’t recommend any other gym. This place does it right.
