Best Gym near Buena-park, California

Have been coming here for years and to be honest it’s a great facility with all the equipment you need to get a great workout. The only reason I would rate it three stars is because the men’s restrooms are constantly under construction or constantly not working correctly and this has been going on for a long time.

This is my home gym, but I've since moved across the country. I'm visiting, and honestly this gym has really gone downhill. Broken equipment. Dirty equipment. Even the trash cans are rusty looking.

The women's handicap shower is constantly broken and never gets fixed. The hose is broken and the water can't be pushed thru the shower head and its been like that for a couple weeks now. I would think they would check the showers for proper function when they clean them so this doesn't happen cuz some of us can't use the regular showers and depend on the shower head in the handicap stall. Skits a huge inconvenience when it gets broken and no one bothers to notice or notices but refuses to fix it. It only takes a second to turn it on and check that it works and water pressure is normal. This has made it quite inconvenient to utilize this location being the only location open 24/hrs for those of us who function on a swing schedule.

Place was clean! Tyler and Daniel were very friendly and informative about the facility and membership fees!

The gym is very dirty the employees are very enlarged and they do not clean it is specifically this gym they have the managers who give it responsibilities to clean because we pay them for a good service the work is simple not hard and but the bathrooms are disgusting

First of all how are you going to put NO MEMBERSHIP ALLOWED if affected by Los Angeles fires that plenty of people ended up homeless regarding that second how are you going to stand there and Lie saying my mother never said she was coming from LA and being affected but the fire that took place in Palisades when I heard everything over the phone! This is ridiculous seriously not allowing someone that has gone thru that incident being denied a simple shower wow! PLEASE EVERYONE IF YOU ACTUALLY AND GENUINELY ARE HELPING THE AFFECTED DO IT DONT JUST SAY IT. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

I like this gym, the staff is nice and the members are overall pretty cool. However there is 1 big problem. They use these solid blue "air freshener" cakes that are stuck on the walls, the smell is super strong and I can't breathe normally because of that toxic crap in the air. It would be much better if they stopped using those stupid wall air fresheners. I will move on to Blink Fitness, the air quality is better without those stupid bathroom room freshener cakes. That crap goes into your body and it SOLIDIFIES inside your LUNGS.

First of all some of the worker are nice. Second the bathrooms especially the shower are filthy. Each shower has a brown substance on them on the walls. Thats dirt and grim from everyone that showers their. Third the music the dam music gets louder and louder everyday. I dont wana hear half of the stuff they put on their and im sure everyone dont wana hear it either. Hows the music loud and bathrooms dirty sounds like a club when u walk in

The guests are friendly and kind. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I know what to expect when I go and know that I am going to get a good qork out and may meet a new friend at the gym.

I love Planet fitness!! They may not have pools or steam rooms and such! But you cant beat the Hydro massage beds! The total 10 min workout machines that also improve your complexion! And everything else that you need! And you get all the above for free when your a Black card member! Trust me! Being a black card member is worth it!! And with the Black card I can go to other gym's when I'm in those areas too!! And the people are great and very polite! They helped answer all my questions with Covid new rules. And let me know when the least amount of people area there!

The staff are VERY friendly amd enthusiastic and make the classes tons of fun for the kids. Everything is very clean, and instructors can be seen sanitizing surfaces between kiddos ltaking turns.

We held my kiddo’s 3rd birthday party at My Gym Buena Park and could not have been happier! Ms. Jenny arranged everything seamlessly from the music playlist to our guest list and kept in contact with me before and after to make sure everything worked out perfectly. Ms. Sam and Ms. Mel hosted our party of 18 kiddos with enthusiasm, patience and energy. The kids who had never been to My Gym felt at ease and included and the veterans like my kiddos were excited about the new gym layout, party structure and games. Even My Gym owner Mr. Roberto was great with us leading up to the party and after for follow up questions and reassurance! All activities were fun and exciting for toddlers to teens and adults! We especially loved the kids vs grownups game. I cannot thank the staff at My Gym enough for a fun and stress free celebration. I highly recommend My Gym parties and classes.

My granddaughter loves to come and play, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and kids love them! A good way of staying healthy, in movement with the proper coaching so they don't get hurt and have fun at the same time.

This is the best investment I made for my COVID baby’s socialization. She has only been coming 2 months and I see such a major improvement in her socialization skills. Everyone in our family and even neighbors noticed the difference. The staff are so sweet and patient they are like family. My baby feels so cared for and at home here. Mr. Roberto the owner is so amazing! Very interactive with all the kids as well as his amazing staff Ms. Mel and Ms. Ashley. The parents and kids are also amazing!!! It’s just a great experience. My baby comes out of her shell and comes alive when she is here. I highly recommend it and I came from another mygym that I wasn’t fond of.

My daughter loves this place. I added pictures to Google maps to help give an idea of what this place is like. Its right above the John's incredible pizza. We parked on the west side of the movie theater. However any where is good. They have seating for the parents. Is advise bringing a water bottle for your child. They do have restrooms in here for the kids, so at least that is covered.

Very friendly trainers and members. Gym is well kept and always clean. It is welcoming to anyone who is looking for a trainer or just a private gym. Trainers here are very helpful and willing to give advice to everyone. Would give the gym 10/10!

Amazing place with brand new equipments! Super clean and organized. They even have a 100lb dumbbells and 55lb plates for those who require them. The trainers are polite and some of them, Especially Clark has many accolades and have their trophy collection all over the gym. Overall the best gym in town hands down.

I initially visited Stance Fitness due to its convenient location within walking distance from my home. I am frequently impressed by the facility's exceptional cleanliness and maintenance. Never an issue with the equipment. One of the standout features for me was the availability of six squat racks, which is two more than the last major commercial gym I used to go to. A special mention goes to one of the personal trainers, Alex Terriquez, whose expertise truly stands out. Alex emphasized the critical importance of recovery and maintaining proper form to optimize muscle growth and performance. During our leg exercise sessions, he highlighted the necessity of maintaining good posture to prevent joint instability and potential injuries, all while ensuring that the workouts remained intense and effective. Overall, Stance Fitness is a top notch gym and a fun experience.

Lina is incredible, she walked us through the facility, clearly explained the facility culture and rules and was friendly . The trainers here are attentive, professional, and never on their phones. They are enthusiastically explaining mechanics about the movements and motivating their clients. This gym has an impressive selection of equipment, a clean atmosphere and sparkling bathrooms. An excellent fitness facility for newcomers and more experienced people. Thank you Stance!

Signed up for a year of membership, and just a little over a month in. Everything is very clean, and equipment always in working condition. The owner Clark is also very helpful, checks in on his members when he sees them and even offers pointers and reminders. It also isn’t ever crowded. I’ve been part of large commercial gyms like 24hr fitness and LA fitness and they just don’t compare to The Stance. I also completed 10 personal training sessions with Alex leading to losing 6lbs of body fat while gaining 6lbs of muscle in 5 weeks!
