Best Gym near Berlin, New-jersey

I’ve been coming here for 6 years and it’s about time the owner just hangs it up and sells this place. Half of the equipment is broken and there is only one working water fountain, the room with the only working water fountain was locked so I had to work out without water. The dude clearly doesn’t care about this place and should honestly sell it to someone young and ambitious that would flip this gym. The only thing that is appealing is how lowkey this place is and how it’s never packed.

Current state of gym is scary. WHEN YOU WALK IN YOU CAN SMELL THE MOLD FROM THE POOL THEY ALMOST CLOSED..THAT AND THE BROKEN DOWN ENGINE ROOM ..

This place is awesome. The equipment is old, this isn't some fancy new gym, but it doesn't have to be in order to be good and get the job done. The pool and hot tub are amazing. The water jets will massage your back, and the sauna is hot. This gym has all the equipment you could possibly need to get jacked. Don't pay attention to the other reviews on Google. Those people are stuck up and like to complain about everything.

Old school, hard core gym! Equipment from the golden age of lifting and iron plates that still say made in the USA! It is a step back in time. Do not expect Planet Fitness, expect a lifting gym. The sauna and pool are a nice touch, but it is a gym for body builders and lifters! Scream that light weight baby all you want.

They have a decent select of weights. However, they really need to make some upgrades. The gym is dirty and the equipment is old and worn out. The staff was not very welcoming. There are nicer gyms around the area that can compete with their prices now

Glisten is amazing! It’s my “happy place” The lake is beautiful with a lot of fun areas on land but the real reason you’re there is the water. The yoga classes are phenomenal- it’s such a fun challenge to be on a paddleboard. Maura’s classes are so inviting and really tailored to the vibes of the group that day or something that resonated, it’s very organic and wonderful. You can also just go paddle boarding and enjoy the hammocks. Just being there on the lake in nature, it’s a gift to yourself

The outdoor fitness experience at Glisten is amazing. Their wooded property with running and mountain biking trails surrounds a stunning sparkling lake that is perfect for paddleboarding, open water swimming, and beach or SUP yoga. The Glisten crew has created an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all who seek to play outside and revel in the bounty of nature. There is always something unique on the schedule, such as an orienteering workshop that my family thoroughly enjoyed. They make it so easy to go online and buy a pass, sign the waiver, and register for the fun.

Glisten is an amazing location. It’s beautiful and the owner is so lovely. We had such a great time!

Recently visited this gem to attend a friend's birthday party. Having lived in NJ all of my life I was surprised that I never heard of this place. We arrived later in the evening so we missed the paddle board yoga but arrived just before it got too dark. From what I saw it is a very nice facility with winding drivable trails and open areas. The area where we met our friends had plenty of parking and we stood under a very cool looking wood structure. After talking with our friends we got a little bit of background on the owners and their vision on how they want to grow and expand more activities here which sounds pretty exciting. They do offer paintball games as well as paddle boarding. Can't wait to see what's next. My only recommendation for the owners would be to have a couple extra yoga signs as we got turned around looking for our friends initially. Can't wait to return again!

This place is a little slice of heaven right here in South Jersey. The lake is perfect for open water swimming. There are life guards to ensure safety, and sighting buoys to follow along as you swim to other side. Water is super clean and warm. There are lakeside yoga classes and stand up paddle boarding as well. It’s a beautiful peaceful place that I absolutely love going to. Highly recommend!!!
