Having a disability is tough. Having to workout in front of a bunch people with one, even tougher. Yinglings gym has been a godsend to me and my recovery from a serious injury. They keep memberships at a capacity and sometimes you’re the only one there. They have dumbbells that go over 100 pounds and just the right amount of equipment for a small gym. The sauna is also a nice amenity they offer at 5$ per session. Having lived all over the central pa region this is only the 3rd gym I have found with one. I’ve worked out at dozens of gyms. Opened 24 hours with a digital key and right off the 99 exit. Thanks for everything 🦾

This place has a great atmosphere and great people! It's a fairly small place, but there's plenty of machines and weights to use. This place really is more of a judgement free zone than the big guys, and I'm sure you know who I mean. I also love that it's veteran owned, and there's all the amenities you could need here. Definitely glad I signed up!

Love that it’s 24 hours and NOT crowded like 24 hour franchises. Keeping it at limited members really keeps the flow for the members going in and being able to use machines

I really can't speak highly enough about Dorman's and the specialized sports training. My teenage daughter started workouts last winter and she feels that her jumping and overall strength has noticeably improved. Also love that the training is geared towards injury prevention and proper technique. That's important to me. Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating and communicate very well. Equipment is well kept and everything is clean and safe.

This gym and the coaches are amazing. There is a real community/family environment. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The programming at this gym is thought-out and very effective . There is never any judgement when you walk through the doors at Dormans.

Excellent staff, brilliant coaches/trainers, and physical therapists who can be trusted. Cross fit, powerlifting, sports training, everyday therapeutics to keep you moving in healthy ways, you name it and someone is there with a piece of humble advice that'll have you making good, stable progress. It's worth every penny.

HANDS DOWN - Awesome gym, Clean, large variety of classes at flexible times which is great for even the busiest person. The coaches are phenomenal with a ton of knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm. Everyone is always pushing each other to do their best- which takes the stress level of being newbie away. They offer classes that every fitness level can take part of and actually enjoy ! No other gym will offer you the welcome like you will receive from this place, everyone is friendly- the owner, trainers and the members themselves ! I would highly recommend this gym to everyone !

I was visiting from out of town and I was surprised that this location closes at 9 pm on Saturday. The place is big and clean but the staff is not friendly at all. The Planet Fitness gyms I go to are open 24/7 back home.

Very nice Planet Fitness. It has a lot of aerobic equipment and wasn't too crowded. Nice location. Plenty of parking and everything was in good condition. Well lit, clean and comfortable atmosphere.

ANAZING STAFF!! This gym is clean. Even at its busiest there is always enough equipment and the staff again..they are so nice and so eager to help. Ron, who helps run the gym is a ray of sunshine and such a kind person. I love his energy! Just a great place for getting and staying healthy and fit!

I am a black card holder and I love it. The hydro massage is a wonderful reward after a hard practice and I can go to whatever club I want to on my travels around the US. It is not expensive, so if I don’t go for a while, it does not feel like a waste of money. This particular location is clean, not too busy, and the crew is always helpful. Especially recommend towards the weekend as is is specifically calm and there is no wait for the machines.

Good gym with tennis and pickleball courts too. Boxing also. They have classes and personal trainers if you choose. Place could use a little TLC, but overall a decent gym.

The outside of the building does not do the inside justice. I have done a tour of a few gyms in the area. This one takes the cake. The staff are friendly and helpful (most of them, anyways 😂). They take sanitization seriously, the locker room and bathroom/shower facilities are very clean. The atmosphere is comfortable. There is a variety of equipment - mostly modern. Plenty of space - not too crowded like some gyms. They have lots of different classes and affordable billing. All in all, two thumbs up. Love it here. 😁

Very nice gym, chill environment, and the staff is extremely friendly! Sometimes I get nervous going to a gym because I'm a plus size, but I didn't feel judged at all here. It made my workout go by really quickly.

I’m in town temporarily and had the chance to check out this gym after a quick google search. Since a gym only needs weights in my opinion this place hits the spot so perfectly. Simple, clean, affordable, and the owners are very cool. Anytime I’m in town I’ll be back.

Nothing like this yoga studio in the area! 💖 LOVE the hot power yoga classes! It's truly the best mental and physical overall body fitness class I've ever experienced. While I favor hot yoga, there are a variety of classes for all levels! So blessed to have this space in our community! 💖

I love SPY (Simply Power Yoga)! As a newbie in the area, I couldn't be happier to have found this community. Not only is the studio convenient and clean, there's a variety of classes available. Best of all, there are multiple teachers, all of whom lead a great class and clearly love teaching. Thank you all for the amazing place you've created and for supporting my yoga journey!

Wow. Was in town for a wedding this past month and my wife pushed me to join her for a yoga session. This place was recommended to my wife by one of her friends so we stopped here. Cannot express how amazing this place is and the quality of the staff/ownership!!! As a man who has never been into yoga, going to a yoga place might seek intimidating, but everyone here was so welcoming and passionate! 5/5 cannot recommend a place more!

I needed Physical Therapy after surgery for the meniscus of my left knee Getting back to running was an important goal of mine. Each week I met with Tyler in Altoona, he had individualized strengthening exercises planned. He continually measured and supported my progress. After 8 weeks, I am running again and now have a personalized strengthening program to keep me healthy and strong, all thanks to Tyler’s commitment to me as a valued and respected client and athlete. Aside from his knowledge and experience, Tyler is genuinely kind, honest, and fun! He provided the encouragement and motivation I needed when I thought my running days were over. Thank you, Tyler!!

I started physical therapy, after rotator cuff surgery, with Tyler from the Altoona Warrior Sports Physical Therapy facility in Dec 2024 and I couldn’t be happier with my progress and Tyler’s professionalism, experience and level of concern for my health and return to full strength and mobility. The facility is clean and modern with a full compliment of machines and equipment and the entire staff is motivated and pleasant. Tyler took the time to know me on a personal level and built an understanding of my goals and developed a short and long term plan for recovery to achieve them. I highly recommend Warrior Sports Physical Therapy and Tyler.

I needed physical therapy after an injury that resulted in a sprained MCL over the summer. I was very nervous to have to go to a different physical therapist away from home, however, Tyler in Altoona was an amazing choice. I was given great recommendations about him. Each time I went to Warrior Sports PT I really felt as though they had my best interest at heart. With every session, I felt as though I was getting completely personalized training for my specific injury. Tyler also checked in with how my knee was feeling before every session in order to make sure that what he had planned for me that day would work. The mission of Warrior Sports PT was also a very positive. From the new facilities, to the kind hearted workers, I recommend Tyler and the whole Warrior Sports PT staff for any physical therapy needs.

I play Division 1 soccer at Saint Francis University and I had experienced a quad strain during our preseason camp. I had went to Warrior Sports Physical Therapy in Altoona with Tyler 2 years ago for some strength and conditioning and I knew he would be the best for my quad. Tyler helped me get back to 100% in no time so I could get play to my fullest potential. He has the most modern therapy techniques and much knowledge about the career!

Body, Mind and Chrome has become my favorite place. I started here after my bestfriend asked me to take an intro class with her. It's was one of the best decisions I've made. The classes are so fun and the instructors are amazing people. If you're looking for something new and refreshing for your workout or just looking for a new space for yourself to grow I highly recommend this studio.

I just finished an introductory fitness class here and it was so much fun. The instructor is AMAZING! She's so detail-oriented and knowledgeable on body mechanics. Her advice is worth its weight in gold. She gave me a tip that made climbing 10x easier and continued giving individualized and crucial pointers throughout the class. I learned so much! You really dive right in, but every move has multiple versions so everyone can go at their own pace. I can't wait to go back. Its such a fun way to exercise. I feel blessed to have this studio near me.

I absolutely am loving the classes here! Every instructor has been so kind and welcomed me into class with open arms. I do not think there is one unkind soul here. After having a baby almost a year ago this is just what I needed to begin my journey to feeling like my best me again.
