Disappointing Experience at Gymstrada We have been long-time members of Gymstrada and have generally enjoyed our experience. However, recent changes have significantly impacted our satisfaction. The first issue arose due to the loss of parking across the street, which has created a chaotic situation, especially during peak class times. Parents are now forced to circle the block multiple times in search of a parking space, often arriving late and disrupting the class. This has not only caused stress for parents but has also made it difficult for the gym to maintain a smooth and orderly environment with the small space the parents have for viewing. But that was something I was willing to do just so my daughter can participate 2x weekly but also dread every. single. time. Our primary issue stems from a recent incident involving my daughter's developmental gymnastics class. After a brief hiatus, my daughter returned to the class and as a group that rotates in different stations with some new, younger coaches at some stations. These coaches are responsible for spotting students, regardless of their skill level or when applicable. My daughter, who is still learning the handstand-to-bridge transition, was asked to attempt the skill in which she did not know she was not being spotted. The coach insisted she perform the move. Unfortunately, my daughter fell and landing straight on her back which was very painful. This incident was particularly disturbing because it deviates from our previous experiences at Gymstrada. In the past, coaches have always been attentive to students' needs and provided appropriate spotting, even for less challenging skills. Following the incident, I spoke with the gym's management. Instead of acknowledging the coach's error, they placed blame on my daughter, suggesting she should have communicated her need for assistance. The coach also claimed to be unfamiliar with my daughter and stated that she had never seen her before. This is a concerning oversight, as it suggests a lack of attention to detail and a failure to properly assess students' abilities. Given that the coach was unfamiliar with my daughter, it is even more important that she provide extra care and support, including spotting, to ensure the student's safety at least until they get familiar with that child’s abilities. Furthermore, the coach's decision to dismiss my daughter after her first attempt at the handstand-to-bridge transition is unusual and inappropriate. It is common for coaches to provide multiple opportunities for students to practice a new skill, especially when the skill is challenging or requires additional support. By dismissing my daughter after only one attempt, the coach demonstrated a lack of care, patience, sympathy and understanding. Despite my daughters distress, the coach continued to dismiss her concerns and urged her to proceed to the next station. This was a clear indication that the coach was more focused on maintaining a fast pace than on ensuring the well-being of her students. Given this disappointing experience with the incident, the ongoing parking challenges, the staff's response to the incident, and the overall impact on our satisfaction with the gym, we have decided to discontinue our membership at Gymstrada. The gym's failure to prioritize student safety and its dismissive attitude towards our concerns have eroded our trust.

Had my grandkids ages ( 4-6 ) try the 1 hour free trial class. Very impressed with the overall experience and the one on one attention given to all participants.

I cannot recommend Gymstrada enough for anyone looking to start gymnastics. My granddaughter, who is new to the sport, absolutely adores it here. The investment in her classes is truly worth it as I can already see her progress. With a team of knowledgeable and nurturing instructors, Gymstrada is the perfect place to begin your gymnastics journey. I wholeheartedly give this facility a glowing 5-star rating!

Place is filthy. I would 1000000X not recommend this facility to anyone with children under 10 or children who can’t speak for themselves. The “coaches” are not attentive - some VERY young and not engaged with small children. They basically throw kids from one station to the next with little thought or care into working with children and helping them learn anything. Kids are standing around waiting to be told what to do - absolutely WASTE of money. There’s a TON of 5 star reviews which sounds appealing at first sight. Gymstrada is like Amazon - fake reviews. I found it so odd after arriving and seeing the classes first hand and experiencing the place myself. But it all made sense when I saw posters for “Give us a 5 star review and we will give you a $5 Starbucks gift card.” disgusting - there are WAY better gymnastic facilities around that take pride in teaching, professional and caring staff and a well maintained facility. Go right passed Gymstrada to Excalibur - you’ll be blown away by the difference.

So HAPPY one of my friends told me about this gymnastics place! Signed my daughter up with a groupon to start to make sure she would like it and she instantly loved it! Every week she can't wait to go back! Ms. Chloe is a great fun teacher too and I can tell she really cares about the kids. We have only been going for a month but I'll definitely be signing my daughter up to continue to go. I also love the availability of choosing what classes to put your child in. Highly recommend this gym!

My feelings about Excalibur were very positive at first. This was where I trained as a kid and loved it, so this is who I trusted with my kid. My son is 5 and was very scared and nervous about starting. We usually have an amazing coach who eased him into it and worked with him as well as the other kids making sure everyone had fun and was involved. The gym was closed on a day of his class and our make up day was scheduled for today. We had coach Chloe, I immediately noticed gestures and faces she made at my son but let it go. As class progressed she had the children constantly sitting (not stretching) just sitting in a line. You would assume this would be the order they would be called in for the activities however, it wasn’t. This coach knew certain children and called them first, giving them multiple turns while my son sat constantly. When he did get to go (last - no matter of his placement in the “line”) she stopped paying attention and focused on the same few students. She then continued to make frustrated faces at him as if she wasn’t failing to give him the demonstration/ assistance she was giving the other children. I saw my son point at me several times to which she shook her head no, I later found out she was denying him going to get a sip of water… the other students were allowed to go in and out as they pleased. At the end of the course I was ready to pull him out and I stood up, when she saw me stand up she immediately walked to my son (who was on the beam struggling to keep balance) and helped him as if she realized she was caught. She then lined everyone up (my son in the back of course) and let everyone pick which sticker they wanted and gave them a high-five and said good job. When it was my sons turn she handed him a random sticker and he politely said “actually I wanted this one” to which she responded “then you need to ask and say please” something that was not expected from any other child. She then stood up, no high five, no good job. I grabbed my sons hand and started to put his shoes on when I heard her speaking with another parent saying “I chose your daughter to demonstrate everything, I’m sure she was wanting to sit down” (seemed like an intentional statement being that she had my son sitting continuously) she then complained about summer hours and said “I’m sorry there were make up students in the class, it’s not fair to her or me” .. meanwhile the parent who she was giving all of this praise to was trying to complain about the fact that all of our children were tumbling over each other on the balance beams and how she wasn’t comfortable with the spacing. It seemed coach Chloe was too busy trying to insult a “make up student” that she bypassed that. I am infuriated to say the least not only did she mistreat my child, she then admitted to mistreating my child right infront of my face. It was not our fault that we needed a make up class, the gym was closed and the way we were treated because of that is disgusting. No one with this mentality should be working with small children, she should be ashamed of herself. I wish so bad I knew the name of his normal coach as she is amazing and I would recommend her a thousand times. However if you are told your child’s coach is Chloe I would ask for a new one.

My daughter has been going to Excalibur for over 2 years now. She started off so scared and nervous but her coach showed patience and support to the point of her taking off. Ever since that first day gymnastics is all my daughter does and talks about. Now at a level three she spends more time at the gym during the week then at home and she loves every minute of it. Her three coaches are amazing. She talks non stop about them. I feel comfortable knowing that she is taken care of and getting the right training to succeed. Excalibur is truly the best place!!!

*The BEST training* *World-renowned, caring coaches* *Clean* *Organized* *Professional* My two daughters attend this gym and over the last two years have THRIVED here. The owners and other coaches we've had experience with are top-notch. They certainly promote a positive environment that is encouraging to the girls. I'm perplexed by the negative reviews, as I spend a lot of time here (4-hour practices), so I see quite a bit of the happenings on the floor and lobby, and I haven't had or seen any problems. I always see the coaches cheering on the girls and the girls cheering on each other. My older daughter competes and her team is constantly reminded to support other girls - a very team-like mentality. She spends 16 hours a week there and loves it so much that she wants to go MORE! I can attribute this passion to the expert training she receives. They work hard but also have FUN. My other daughter started off in a beginner-level class and I was very impressed at how welcomed she was to her new class, the individual attention that she and her classmates received, and the focus on safety, progressing, and having fun. The facility is 100% the best in the area. The equipment is replaced often so it always looks brand new and is ensured to be safe and clean. The lobby is kept very clean and orderly, and you can view your gymnast the entire class. It seems like some parents get upset about some of the gym’s policies, but it is a very professionally run business, and all of info is given upfront. I know of a few concerns other parents have had and the staff was quick to address them with genuine care. I HIGHLY recommend this gym.

We are going into our fourth season at Excalibur and I cannot say enough great things about this gym. The coaching staff is top notch. They are teaching life skills such as discipline, courage and respect all while coaching our children. This is a demanding sport and they are well versed in how to take the athletes to the next level when appropriate. This gym is well respected in the gymnastics world and they make sure their competitors are ready to meet the challenges of the sport. They constantly are upgrading the facility to be the best in the area. The equipment is excellent and replaced when necessary. The waiting room has recently been renovated and is bright and inviting. I highly recommend Excalibur Gymnastics whether for a beginner or a well trained gymnast.

I wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation for Pink Pearl Gymnastics. It has been an incredible experience for my child, and I highly recommend it to anyone with a budding gymnast. The families and students create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, free of unnecessary competition. Most importantly, Mrs. Margaryta and Mr. Tim are exceptional teachers. They balance patience, love, and fun with a strong emphasis on discipline and safety, ensuring that each gymnast practices their skills responsibly. My daughter absolutely loves Pink Pearl and has grown so much in such a short time. After trying out several other places, I’m so grateful we found Pink Pearl Gymnastics. It truly is a wonderful establishment!

This is such a wonderful place for a child to learn gymnastics. My daughter went to Pink Pearl from age three to six, and she really enjoyed it. Ms. Margaryta is wonderful at making gymnastics fun and also at teaching kids to be hard-working and to face challenges. She also really focuses on teaching kids to perform the moves the right way and to be safe in doing so. Wonderful place!

My daughter began gymnastics at Pink Pearl in the fall of 2022. The progress she has made in such a short period of time is tremendous. I've seen gains with her flexibility, balance, strength, and confidence. She has moved up a skill level and loves the challenges. Mrs. Margaryta and Mr. Tim have been wonderful. They have high expectations but are loving and fun. Highly recommend Pink Pearl if you are looking for that family feel!

My daughter has been going to PP for over a year. Tim & Margurita help her work on her skills & are great with her. They have such a good way to show the kids love & structure all while they are improving themselves. We can't wait until our youngest is old enough to attend.
