I’ve had the pleasure of having my daughters at Momentum Gymnastics for the past year, and we absolutely love it! The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to the growth and development of the athletes. My daughters have made tremendous progress in their skills and are continually challenged to reach new heights, thanks to the wonderful coaching team. I’d like to give special recognition to Coach Michael, Coach Katrina (affectionately known as the “gym mom”), Coach Phillip, and Coach JaLynn. Each of them brings something unique to the table and has created such a positive and encouraging environment for my children. My daughters adore them and look forward to every practice. Additionally, I want to commend the owner, Kevin, for the exceptional care he provides to the Momentum family. As someone who has had the opportunity to photograph several classes at the gym, I’ve witnessed firsthand how hands-on Kevin is with the kids. His deep knowledge and passion for gymnastics are evident in everything he does, and his genuine love for the sport and the athletes shines through. We are truly grateful for the incredible experience our family has had at Momentum and look forward to many more years with this amazing team.

My son absolutely loves going to his class. Your staff is incredible and everyone is so nice. My son loves Coach Phillip! We have only been 2 times and each time has been so great for him. It is such a relief and makes me so happy that for at least 50 mins of his day he can just have fun and be himself, full of energy, without having his mom tell him no, be careful etc. and he is in a safe place.

Coach Jess and Coach Diamond were exceptional. However, the frequent changes in my daughter’s coach were disruptive. Eventually, we were assigned Coach Chloe, who showed a lack of empathy towards young children. I observed a situation where my child, frightened by a new trick, cried afterward. Unlike Coach Jess and Coach Diamond, who were compassionate and encouraging, Coach Chloe responded by telling and pointing for my crying child to "go sit in the corner and do whatever." Looking completely annoyed with her and dismissing her. When I addressed this with Coach Chloe, her dismissive and sarcastic response was, "it's something I'll work on," accompanied by an eye roll. Not only that, but she lied about what she had just said to my child when I watched with my own eyes what happened. Throughout the class, it was evident that she was increasingly annoyed with my young child, culminating in her telling my child to sit in the corner when she did absolutely nothing wrong. The owner, Kevin, made efforts to improve our experience, though he initially defended their intense training methods and that I needed my child to be put with a coach who is more compassionate. They offered to prorate my rate and switch to a more empathetic coach, but the damage was already done. Despite my attempts over the past two weeks, my child has lost her enthusiasm for gymnastics. Begging me not to take her back there. In my opinion, and as a dance instructor of young children, anyone training 5-year-olds must possess compassion and empathy for all children. I feel compelled to write this review because my child went from being incredibly excited about gymnastics to never wanting to go back. They broke her spirit. I invested a lot of time selecting a gym that I believed would be suitable for my child, and I am deeply disappointed that my 5-year-old had to endure the frustration of an annoyed young teacher. As a teacher to young children, this is absolutely unacceptable. I expect a response to my review from the gym, but there is nothing they can do to change what she has experienced. We are left with a bad taste and will not be recommending Momentum Athletic Center to anyone. 2 stars because Jess and Diamond were amazing.

Momentum’s preschool gymnastics program is top notch. My nephew started class at 18 months and had Coach Gabriella who did an amazing job building relationships with every kid in the class. I appreciate the smaller class sizes and how clean & organized the dedicated preschool area is. The themed lesson plans with coordinating props make gymnastics feel fun and new each week for the kids. We’ve enjoyed Momentum’s preschool open gyms too as it was a chance to play in the “big kid” gym! The huge bouncy castle slide is a big hit.

The Extraordinary Athlete Program for Toddlers is absolutely amazing! The staff is so professional in dealing with each child. The training they have received clearly shows. My son asks to go the the gym every day. After class he is so happy, excited, and proud of himself! The coach's have him accomplishing goals I was not sure he would ever be able to do. His mood is regulated for the whole day after class. I absolutely recommend this program!

Not only does my daughter do gymnastics here with amazing coaches, we had her bday party here and the coaches were PHENOMENAL! they helped make the party great and who doesn't want an open gym at their gymnastics to play with their best friends?! Highly recommend kids doing gymnastics here, it's been around for a long time and they know what they're doing.

This place has taken a nose dive. Ownership recently changed and it’s noticeable. The coaches might as well have a phone in their hand bc they just stare at the wall while the kids create their own class. My daughter was bored and not learning a single thing. Then the gym started cancelling classes bc they needed to raise funds (bc people are dropping like flies) and they refused to credit my payment back so I tried calling to speak to a manager regarding refund and the woman who answered screamed at me and hung up the phone. Tried calling back the following week to disenroll my child and no one picked up the phone, I had to email to disenroll. Not sure how they except to run a business like this??? Yikes

We had my daughters birthday party here and it was such a fun experience! The facility is large and the two coaches we had were so kind and energetic. We were going to another gynmastics studio but we are going to switch over to here.

As much as we wanted to love this place the more we went the worse it got. They seem to get new coaches and rip them from the kids leaving them with a different coach every class. They remove dedicated coaches and bring in lazy inappropriate “adults” to be around our youth. For the Coach’s whom are there (higher rolls) I assume are out on the floor on the floor on phones, sitting down, eating and only paying attention to the athletes who have money. The amount of whispers from certain coaches and eye roll dirty looks are enough to make you feel like you’re back in HS. If a parent watching from a screen can see this imagine what our kids are seeing/learning. I would spend your money elsewhere where the true meaning of the gym is the KIDS not their personal image and their profit. Unless you have been there from the beginning you are not very welcome after passing the front desk. We really wanted to like this place as there was stuff for both kids Cheer and Ninja, the ninja program has one coach who looks absolutely exhausted every class and the enthusiasm is weak. Total bummer!

This is the second year in a row we just did our son's birthday at momentum, (and he also does weekly ninja there), we literally could not be happier! Hannah was AMAZING making sure the party was exactly what we wanted, and Lauren went above and beyond, too!! I can't imagine doing a party anywhere else. The parents of our guests are obsessed with the place as well, and every kid had the time of their lives!!

Fantastic gym for a kid's birthday party. Huge open gym, bouncy house, trampolines, climbing ropes, ninja course with rock wall and multiple warped walls. Staff went above and beyond to make our party an huge success!

When you hit Longs, keep going! Do not pass go, do not collect $200, do not stop here! We gave this business too many seasons and too much money. Can’t pay tuition? No problem! They will write off thousands in unpaid tuition bills at the end of the season and require everyone else to foot the bill. No sweat. Don’t worry, they also will NOT punish your child in any way, shape or form or hold them back from a competition as required by their own handbook. Bullying? A gym special! If the athlete happens to be a coaches favorite (and their parent can suck up), nothing will be done. Even if there is requirements that THEY set in place in their own handbook. Favoritism? You got it! If you can kiss a coaches behind, give them all their favorite gifts regularly, and suck up to them at every practice (heck? Maybe even invite them over every now and then) - your child can become the centerpiece of every routine, despite how few tumbling skills they have. Professionalism? Not exactly. Kevin will pass any hard pressed communication back to Stephanie to answer. The coaches will openly call out kids to move up to new teams/new levels in front of other kids with better skills instead of having the conversation away from other kids (viewing rooms and offices are there for a reason….). Transparency? About as transparent as….. mud….. at midnight. Don’t expect scores/placements to be shared openly after any competition. This is done to “avoid conflict” as if parents can’t use the almighty Google to get on the producers site and find them out later. Billing…. It’s timely and that’s about the only thing it has going for it. They ran annual fees for people whom no longer attended the facility earlier this year and you had to call for a refund. After committing to a 50% tuition reduction for the month of May for cheer athletes- several were charged 100%, others 50%. No one can explain why. No one wants to rectify the issue. Tryout fees? Surprise! Inconsistency! Prep teams get them free if they paid for May, Elite teams had to pay $75.00 for the tryout, but if you’re nice (and ask) you’ll get that either discounted or waived (heck, some families were never even charged the tryout fee). They claim the fee is to “pay coaches”, however, wouldn’t you need to “pay coaches” for your prep tryouts too? No? Is this another need for someone else to foot the bill of another write off? If they ask you to team parent? DONT! You’ll be in for THOUSANDS, yes, THOUSANDS of dollars (and dozens of hours in time) in addition to monthly tuition and team fees. If you ask for any additional, they will openly tell you that its more of a you issue, not a them problem (despite them mandating multiple things from you, as team parent). Don’t expect a discount on team fees, DO expect to purchase your child’s gifts 2x though! If they don’t ask you to team parent, you can expect that your child MAY end up with Kendra Scott necklaces, Stanley cups, Crocs, Silk Robes and more (all funded by the team parent!).

My 3 year old has been going for few months and enjoyed her coaches and the sport! However, during the past month, she’s been asking to leave class early and didn’t show the joy and excitement for gymnastics as before—this was all during the time that her coach switched to Caleb. I noticed in the beginning that Caleb was more stern with the toddlers and didn’t leave space for them to express themselves through the sport. I later noticed that he would skip my daughter consistently and made her go last for every routine and didn’t acknowledge her even when she directly spoke to him after doing certain poses. For example, she would say, “look I did the forward roll” but he wouldn’t respond and this happened several times. She left class early and cried, 4 weeks in a row, (which she never did before) and was sad at the end which broke my heart because she enjoyed it so much before Caleb started coaching. He was not instilling confidence, respect and independence in her—she felt the opposite!! As the owner of the gym, it is concerning that this is the culture he exudes in young toddlers. I just want other parents to be attentive and be engaged while your kiddos are in class to make sure you are aware of how they are being treated and trained!! My daughter told me that she doesn’t want to go to her next gymnastics class, which is new for her to refuse something she really likes. They obviously have good reviews but make sure your kiddos are enjoying their experiences & just not going through the motions!! We will not go back and have found a better gym with excellent coaches as well as a respectful and nurturing culture and environment!

My niece likes the coaches and the gym but unfortunately has been experiencing bullying with the other girls. She’s only 6 so I was shocked at the cruelty. I would hope the staff and coaches will be more involved and watchful of the treatment of some of the girls especially because they are split up into small groups. I would also hope that the coaches and staff take pride in teaching discipline in all aspects of this sport, given the “team” it’s supposed to be. She will stay for now but hopefully her new group is better.

Leaps has been amazing for my daughter. She has loved all her coaches and everything they have done to help her learn and succeed. They help her overcome fears and insecurities when it comes to gymnastics, that will also help her in life’s lessons as well. Thank you Leaps Team!!

Leaps has been such an amazing gym for our daughter! The coaches are all nice and genuine and they really notice talent and hard work! Caleb has been an amazing owner, he's friendly, knowledgable, and seems to truly have every gymnast and their family's best interest at heart. We're so glad to be a part of Leaps Gymnastics!

Leaps Gymnastics has been such an incredible gym for my 3 year old son. We’ve been with multiple coaches for the past year and they are phenomenal! Not only is everyone so welcoming at this gym, this gym is truly like a family. Caleb is such an amazing owner and has been there for our family from the start! We are happy to be part of Leaps Family!
