I attended the Star Bound christmas show Saturday It was very nicely done until they presented a balloon and candy instead of every child getting one they decided it had to be bought unfortunately we weren't aware of purchasing it and our little girl was passed over as others were she was upset as other children were I feel That the Academy could give each child, a balloon and candy after their family has paid quite a bit to attend it for the year. It was a thoughtless thing to do and I hope they can change it next time. I'm a upset grandmother at the thoughtlessness of the school

I needed an activity for my daughter to get into outside of school and decided on Starbound. I love how flexible they have been when it came to scheduling. My daughter loved going there. It was so easy to decide when my youngest was old enough to attend. If I can recommend anyone I would recommend Shomie she has worked with both of my girls and they love her and her ambiance. It is all love and family oriented. So if you’re looking for an activity for your children then stop by and see what it is like for yourself.

Contrary to most reviews regarding this establishment, I was disappointed. During the earlier stages when the staff was soliciting the program there were high levels of interest and engagement. However, after we signed our child up, I could not help to take notice that a distant culture came into play. Further, most front desk administrators do not even greet parents when they bring their children in. As an establishment that coins itself as an academy, one would assume that there would be high levels of conversation between staff and parents; being that the parents that are extensions of the financial structure that shapes the existence of the institution. Notwithstanding, most administrative staff do not speak or greet parents ( unless you speak to them first) the instructors are very salubrious and approachable. What is more, I maintain that such an establishment only places investment in your child unless they are interwoven in the competitive fiber. Also, the institution struggles in areas pertaining to diversity and culturally responsive visual presentations…… I didn’t see one picture of Gabby Douglass…. Simone Biles … or. Sonni Lee ….in fact all that was portrayed within the visual culture were “Mostly Euro- American children”, which, insofar turned me off because it conveys a specific type of message …..

Room was expensive and not worth the price. Furniture old and a bit beat up, wall paper was peeling off the walls in various places. Beds were comfy though but overall not happy with paying almost $300 for a motel 8 tyoe of room.
