Best Fitness Center near Temple-city, California

Its packed in here. Mostly casuals, some moderate enthusiasts, and a few weightlifters atm. Gold's Gym has better cardio machines, but here has more so lesser competition. Understandable tradeoff 🤝🏻 You can join a 1yr plan for $9.99/mo. You're on the hook for a year. Basic membership- $15.99/mo gets you the equipment out in the front, besides specialized rooms. Premium membership- $24.99 gets you Hiit room, squat room, cinema room, Co-ed sauna and steam room. Outdoor workout facility. More membership- $29.99 gets you something and a recuperating room which has IR sauna, zero gravity chair, hydro massage, compression boots, and a bunch of vibrating toys. The 3 small IR saunas in here are co-ed as well, but you'll find few ppl here and you have 3 rooms to choose, so it's a good choice for people that prefer privacy. Last tier $50/mo includes a child daycare area. Besides the $9.99/mo, these plans can be canceled 10 days prior to the next payment. They have a nice turfed-indoor-area to do stretches, yoga, and calisthenics. No more sliding around when doing planks 😊 There's plenty of ppl doing calisthenics here so its pretty cool, but expect to get pushed to the outside area (if you have More) because theres too many ppl inside. You'll see ppl doing handstands, hanging, pull-ups, and lots of planks. Some dudes occasionally spin around on the pull-ups which is pretty cool. They also have a large mirror room for workout and classes. So far i've seen bodypump and zumba. This place is fitted with equipment that is meant for heavy lifters, body sculptors, and Hiit ppl so it's good for intermediate trainees and gym bros/gals. They have a juice bar I haven't tried yet because it's cold in here 🥶 Things I bought at Chuze: Towel - $19 (used to be 17😳) Lock -$17 Bottle of water - $3 Skullcandy earphones - $28 (good speaker, no bass, battery life 1hr30min-1hr50min when at max) I'm a big fan of gold's gyms rope pulling machine. This one here is lacking. A few Roman chair ab equipments would be nice. Battle rope is light. This is my personal pet peeve because it's very specific to my interest. BUT, I do really like the tire flip machine and power sled. They are amazing for full body workout. My only problem with tire flip is that 60lb is the max. I can't find heavier weights thats small enough to fit in the machine. 🤔 Cinema Room - You might need to go to this room for treadmills if outside is completely full. This is premium room so lesser ppl come in here. The 4-5 treadmills in here can be filled up too fyi They heard my complaint and installed towel hooks in the shower. They installed 2 in each room to make a point 😳😁 Still not a fan of the rain shower heads because pressurized water is great for massaging the shoulder and neck after "working out", but quality of life has been improved 👌 Water could be hotter. Shampoo and soap are not provided. Bring your own or just wash up at the gym and then shower at home. If you prefer lesser ppl, Friday-Sunday is like half the crowd. The only issue is that those days close early as well, so to your own discretion. Do I recommend this place? Yes. It's definitely better than LA Fitness in terms of cleanliness and organization. If you want to go hard, you can go pretty hard here. I complained a lot, but overall, the place is pretty nice. Don't forget Leg Day! 🦵🦵

Nice gym very clean and more organized than any other gyms in the area. Staff is always professional. I love that the infrared sauna and other recovery tools are separate in more of a private setting. I love that there is so many premium rooms for core, lift lab, group therapy etc and the outdoor area takes the cake. My home gym location is Chuze Colorado but temple city has it all. I will come back and visit on every trip out here. Thanks

The gym is fairly nice and clean, and I would give more stars if the kids hours were better. I did have a few uncomfortable experiences, I was told multiple times to breast feed my son in the bathroom, not even the locker room, and in a shameful way. One of the times also happened to be a day with a historically significant heat wave, which is why I didn’t feed him in the car. Legally in California, women are allowed to feed babies wherever they are both allowed to be. Plus, would you eat lunch in a room that smells like excrement? I was also being very discreet under a blanket, it was humiliating to be spoken to that way and has always tainted how I feel walking in. The kids club is better than many, however, hours are very limited and they do not always respect medically mandated instruction . Even when they are open, there’s often a wait list and good luck with their limited hours . Many staff members are very kind and helpful, I hope they improve their kids club hours and training!!!

A lot of innovative ideas! First time visit this gym, place is very bright and inviting! You can tell they took some ideas from LA fitness, some from 24 hours, some from planet fitness, and some from Golds gym! You have 4 choices of memberships, from 9.99 to 45 you can Chuze what you want! I like how the locker room sink has washer and dryer in one! Which saves paper waste, money and times! The lockers inside of the locker room has different shapes, some L shape or L upside down, some are rectangle, very efficient way of utilizing the space! Also I love the lockers outside of the locker rooms, you can program your own combination, no need locker if you have a small bag! Also there is a juice bar in the front!

Great gym! Highly recommend. Chuze keeps gym clean at all times! 🚨 Influx of new members causing gym to be supeeeer packed!! Chuze manager or franchisee please increase the prices!!! It’s ridiculously full. I mean visiting the gym is great but with no equipment available, that defeats the purpose of using the gym. Been member since April 2024
