Best Fitness Center near Aurora, Illinois

Could be such a great gym. Staff is kind , and everyone is pretty respectful of other gym goers. It’s always dirty though. Most specifically the showers . I always feel gross after showering there so I opt to workout elsewhere.

This is a pretty big facility with multiple sports and workout options. To name a few: Workout machines Climbing wall Basketball Volleyball Table tennis Tennis And of course pickleball since that’s the biggest craze these days 😊 Overall, it’s a nice facility and definitely worth having a membership if you are a resident or at least visiting at hug if you are not. Although I did find the facility to be a bit old and dated in parts. The only new and shiny places I saw were the tennis and Pickleball courts.

The staff in here is very rude and disrespectful at one point the security officer said if you don’t like it go to another hospital then! Just because we asked when was my daughter in laws turned to be called in!! Cook county hospital is more professional then here it’s a shame!! Especially that hospitals charges an arm and a leg for the services they provide

Have been a member here for years and years. Quality has gone exponentially down in the last 2 years, both in terms of cleanliness of facility + customer service... not sure if there was a change in management or what. Pretty sad because it used to be the best place around.

The kids swim class ratios have expanded from 5 participants to 7 or or 8 for one instructor This is too many for adequate instruction. My son is in youth 3 and he has digressed from last youth 3 class as the instructor lets him coast and clearly doesn’t know level he was at when finishing last class. Instructors should be given info on each kid when possible

Fox Fitness at Eola is a fantastic gym. It has all the equipment you need for average to pro level lifting. It's a very clean space with respectful nice people. This gym will not disappoint. What would put this gym way over the top is a hip thrust machine like the Glutenator! 👍👍

Great facilities at a great price. They have everything you need including free weights, squat racks, machines, and a ton of cardio machines.

Clean, well-maintained and very affordable. Good quality equipment, track for walking-running, free weights, etc. Excellent place for a workout. Good schedule of classes, too.

'T' is a wonderful instructor who communicates the moves, the modifications and the enthusiasm very well. She makes it fun! And she offers frequent hydration breaks. Thank you for all you do. I will be back. Highly recommend.

Came here to pay to use the indoor track, only to get here and realize they closed at 5pm?? Really? That is way too early. That's ridiculous. No wonder why I stopped paying my gym membership here. Absolute disgrace.

The FloBoxing Academy Program is a blessing in the community for so many . It is great that my son and I are able to participate , encourage and learn a new skill together. The entire vibe of the club is something that I have never seen . From the youth to the adult program , everyone is helpful , encouraging and welcoming . I am thankful for Coach Armand , Betsy at the desk and the entire staff. Thank You !

Pricey but good

This gym is too small to have people just texting on equipment. I remember when this gym was just a broom closet but still attracts the gym texters now. Also the men's locker room is always dirty but fox valley hires 3rd party cleaners since my money they take from me they can afford all their vacations but not a clean facility for the actual customers.

Wow. What a horrible place to work out There is rude staff every single time you go in. This place used to be so chill and easy to go to. They apparently hired the most unwelcoming service lady recently. She is rude and loud when she even talks to children. I've heard her yell across the room at children for being near the basketball court doors. What a shame that employees don't know how to use basic customer service etiquette. And of course the manager is always hiding in his office. So she felt she could have an attitude and no repercussions. Will be switching to the other location.

Great staff. But I wish they would enforce a "no gym bags on the gym floor" as someone could trip. That's what lockers are for.

love this gym! I am so glad that they updated it ! Everyone on staff is very kind and respectful . I have definitely locked my stuff in the lockers and forgot the combo a few times and they always came right away to help me . The cardio machines are super nice, cause you can sign into netflix and hulu. And there are never too many people there, which is awesome, so you do not have to wait in line for machines.

Went to the gym to register on a Monday afternoon and was turned away because they didn’t have anyone there to register me. Horrible first impression.

I personally haven't been here in 8 years I believe so they did add on more rooms to the gym but everything is all spread apart not like Eola where all leg machines are together all shoulder machines together and chest/back machines together so can get chaotic when it's busy and doing your routine exercise. Tons and tons of teens and adults just texting on machines and bench chairs but I was able to work in with someone people which is nice of them. I do like Eola 10/10 more and don't need to pay extra for the sauna. Just my point of view as an outsider and the back room stretching area is kinda cheaply put together and unorganized.

Great place to work out! Love how they have a separate room for the Olympic weights. They need to add more ab machines. Staff are friendly and keep the place clean. Always enjoy spending my time here for a great workout. Love how theirs a fieldhouse with punching bags!

Great experience this past year. Through Nic's training I lost 23 pounds! I am a senior citizen and happy with my results.( So is my doctor.) I have medical issues, and he helped me adapt at home. Thank you Nic!
