Attended a private class for a birthday party. Annmarie was amazing. We were pretty much all beginners and she did such a good job slowly explaining all the moves. I highly recommend renting the heels. We had a group of 16 and they had heels for everyone! Very clean studio. I plan on going back for my birthday too!

Purple Palace has changed my life! I was introduced to the studio 2 years ago by a friend and I have been coming to classes ever since. Coming to classes here have boosted my confidence, core strength, and has helped me reconnect with my body and sensuality. Its been an absolute pleasure to be instructed by Ann Marie Lilly, and her attention to detail, inclusion and attentiveness to each student's growth has been the cherry on top. great studio with great instructors. they’re all amazing, but ann marie is my favorite — not only is she a great teacher, she goes to such extra lengths to make sure there’s a great sense of community here! other notes: i love the way the classes are structured (lots of beginner classes and all levels classes — even in the more advanced classes, beginners are met where they’re at and everyone has something fun to work on). they often offer good package deals for classes. LGBTQIA+ friendly :)

Me and my boyfriend have been learning Spanish dancing with Zak, he is a wonderful instructor!!! Also he is gorgeous to look at!! He knows everything ballroom, cumbia, salsa, everything. We have learned so much from him plus he is a breath of fresh air so fun and charming. Highly recommend him you won’t regret it!!

My husband and I scheduled some private lessons at this studio to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. I had been here a few times before for swing night, but it was my husbands first time taking a dance class. The instructor we got paired with, Yoshi, was wonderful! She really took the time to patiently explain all of the steps and made it super simple to learn! Our first dance was beautiful and my husband and I had a great time learning some new moves. This place is awesome! Just a great energy and everyone is just there to learn how to dance, or dance better. Even if it's your first time you'll have a total blast. We can't decide if we like Tuesday's East Coast Swing class better, or Sunday's. We might just do both!

We’ve been going to the Wednesday night Line Dance class and loving it!!! We had zero experience with line dancing, and have learned 4 dances in 3 weeks. Mona is a great teacher, the classes are a lot of fun, and we look forward to it every week!

First time at Fat Cats today and it was so worth my drive! It was a big dance for as well as a great group of people. I worked with two teachers, one for the first hour and one for the second hour. Very, very knowledgeable, fun and easy to work with. I had done ballroom in the past but because of the pandemic it has been a couple of years since I got to dance. I felt very comfortable here and fell right back into how much fun, and how much I love dancing! I highly recommend the studio!
