Me & my husband are newbies when it comes to boxing. We started with Ron’s training and honestly we are so happy to pick him. He trains 1 on 1. And really teaches you how to block , and give good throws. This is a great place if you want to really learn how to street fight & lose weight at the same time. Plus he has an awesome & friendly energy.

I’ve been training here for about 4-6 months and have improved significantly. I started off as a beginner and now I am very confident at my skill level to spar others at a higher level than me and that’s all thanks to Ron.

I was looking for a kickboxing place for a while that would be more than just the shadow boxing cardio glasses at a gym, and since I found CKO Kickboxing I have been in love! Since my last kickboxing experience was in college where everyone started class at the same time so we learned together, I was nervous to jump into a place where everyone was at different fitness levels, but it has honestly been so easy to join in and go at my own pace while being motivated by those around me who are pushing themselves as well as all the amazing class Instructors that have been energetic, extremely kind, but still inspire me to challenge myself. Additionally the staff have provided such great customer service. They are all friendly and make a point to greet you and use your name so it feels like old friends rather than a new gym, and they were so generous and understanding in the beginning when I was struggling to bring the right amount of water or types of gloves, so they were very helpful and gave me what I needed in the moment to finish the class. I truly can't say enough about what an amazing experience coming here has been and how awesome the people running this are. The people have made the difference, but each class is also so fun and empowering!

Been going to this gym for quite some time now. The classes are a perfect mix of kickboxing moves and a cardio workout. One thing I really like is that you can get as good of a workout as you want, it all depends on how hard you are willing to push yourself. Each instructor is unique, motivating, and want to see you push yourself. Each instructor have different ways of teaching so it feels like you get a different workout each class. Good-sized facility and it’s kept pretty clean. If you’re on the fence about trying class, this is your sign to just go for it - you won’t regret it!

I’m having so much fun at Rumble Boxing! I highly recommend booking a class with Taylor. The energy is great and the class is reasonable for all fitness levels while still pushing you hard. I feel the price is expected and fair for what you’re getting out of it. The staff is also really kind and amazing! Highly recommend.

Find yourself low on motivation? in need of a new challenge in life? Or looking for something fun, active and action packed to do? Rumble is what you’re looking for. And the best way to Rumble is with instructor Lanessa Lozano pushing you on. Sometimes you need that extra step; and she will take you on that journey and more. I am always looking forward to the great welcomes of the Del Mar Rumble team; and a great workout from the amazing Lanessa to bring me back to reality. 6/5 stars 🙌

Absolutely love coming here! Izzy is the absolute best! She is the most helpful person and is so sweet. She draws the most creative pictures on the locker and makes everyone feel special. The whole team makes you feel right at home plus it’s an amazing workout! Highly recommend

THANK YOU! I am a 50's + grandma and I feel SOOOOO comfortable and welcomed at Rumble. My son says I mostly "dance" and that is ok by me and the entire Rumble team! I've had several knee and elbow issues, and the trainers accommodate for me - I love Rumble so much! So thankful for them and all the support from everyone who goes there! No judgment! Love it!

This is a top tier boxing gym. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been coming to the gym here and there... but I am never disappointed. Lots of bag work and partner drills. You are going to learn something new and applicable you can use real world each time! I highly recommend this gym and any of the coaches. They have been in the game for a long time and are happy to help anyone in their boxing journey.

My kid really enjoys taking the boxing class. It helps to reduce stress levels and release all that kid energy. The group size is decent. Kids can go 5x/week if they want. Great monthly price. You can buy certain gear there if necessary. They have a chiller filled with water or Gatorade for $1/ea if you forget to bring your own. There's a couple of sofas and a long wooden bench along the windows for seating. Parking is tight but there's usually spots on the residential streets. There's a liquor store, coffee shop, pizza joint, local grocery store, and some other small shops across the street if you need sustenance before, during, or after training. While the class may have a fun game of Simon Says, the kids come to work hard and push themselves. The coaches enjoy what they do and the kids pick up on that.

The Staff are amazing like no where else. Willing to help build you up and make you family. Understand name of the House ...of boxing, it's like home. The new mural by Ground-floor murals is insane and iconic. The front paint job with pinstriping is classy. You have got to go check this place out for yourself. Ask for Coach Carlos, you'll love him. In response to the Anon Review, yes the group classes tend to be large, and that does limit the 1:1 time you might receive from an instructor. But that is the nature of a group class--which is primarily an exercise class. If a student is looking for more personalized 1:1 attention, there are private lessons offered and those can be tailored to what you are looking for. And yes, the classes may seem to become routine. But that's how most of the fighting arts are taught: repetition, repetition, repetition. There's really so many punching combinations you can throw in boxing. The trick is throwing that jab, or that straight right, or that hook with perfection--or as close as you can get to perfection. Really, the best way you can learn after building up your reflexes and endurance, and picking up technique from watching the other more experienced boxers--and instruction from the trainers--is to spar. And sparring is available to students whom the instructors feel are ready. And they ease you into it--they work with you to help you learn more. The trainers here, Carlos, Sr.; Carlos, David and others, are a library of boxing experience and knowledge. I try to soak up as much as I can every time I go!
