I recently moved to Phoenix for work and stopped by the gym because I was looking for a gym to continue my sons training I have 5 Boys ages 12, 10. 8, 7, 6 they all start boxing at the age of 2 .. and 2 of them are National champions they’re all very experienced and well trained as you could imagine ! People i talk to in the gym were very unprofessional not a serious place if you’re looking for good training the gym looked ok from the inside but smelled of dope soon as I walked in ! i was telling them I was looking for a gym for my sons they cut me off when said they didn’t want to take them because one of my sons is 6 … been to tons of gyms and tournaments wouldn’t take your kids here if ya looking for serious boxing or people to train your kids ! Better luck looking somewhere else

My 11 year old is currently attending this gym and being trained by Tom Garcia. My son just started his third week here and really enjoys it. I can already see improvements in his endurance during cardio and great improvements in his coordination, power, and speed.

I stopped by today to enquire about membership and training. When I was speaking to the owner, he asked me if I had done other martial arts before. I told him I had done several, boxing included, but that I was just interested in boxing right now. He told me I was not allowed to train there because I had done other martial arts before. This is bizarre behavior that I have only heard of occurring in the context of McDojos. Don’t waste your time, this is clearly not a serious gym.

I was denied a membership at this gym due to the color of my skin. The owner told me “this gym is not for your kind.” I recommend you find a local gym that does not discriminate. Very gross for this to happen in 2024.

I called in today 10/14/2024, about a consultation and possibly joining this gym for workout and learning how to box. The person on the phone asked if I workout, if I want to fight people and how old I am. I told them my age and they said “you are too old to be boxing. People like you that think boxing or mma is for fun, it’s not a game”. I was told I was already in my peek and I should try something else. It seems this club is racist as well after reading the comments. I’m Latino with an accent and in fairly good shape for being 34. Definitely a let down for this boxing gym since they could be making more money or having more clientele but they are turning people away based on age, race or sex. Crazzzzzyyyyyyyyyyy. I will suggest trying way other better gyms out there that will gladly help you and train you.

I just finished my 20th class at Title Boxing Club Arcadia and have had the absolute BEST experience! Zane and Jolene are incredible coaches and owners. You can tell from the moment you enter the gym, they love what they do and care for each person who walks in the door. Everyone in class is welcoming and there are no judgments on skill level or experience. In many gyms you're just a number. Not here! This gym has been a breath of fresh air!

Spiraling Psycho of an owner! Can’t handle a bad review and lies and switches his responses. Pitiful. ….Filled out a “try a free class” form online to see if I would switch gyms but they tried charging $25 to take a class once I got there.

From Pandemic to Purpose Due to the COVID pandemic, my gym like many others had closed down. Being a first responder dealing with the stress of the pandemic, it was easy to feel helpless, fatigued, and defeated. I was in need of a healthy outlet and jogging outside the nearby park was getting monotonous. Though joining a boxing gym was intriguing it was intimidating also. I had research several boxing gyms and stumble upon Title Boxing Club Arcadia. They had a 5:30 AM class and it wasn't too far from my house. There was free complimentary session so I took a chance. After the seven minute warm-up, I thought I was going to pass out. I still had eight 3-minute rounds and then ending with seven minute core workout afterwards. Yikes! I had barely made it through that first class and went home to crash for two hours! After recovering, I felt more confident and had more energy. I had not only learned a skill, but strengthen my spirit, soul, and mind. It's been 18 months since that first class and still attending every chance I get. Zane, who was my first instructor would often tell us that if we conquered the morning, then the day is easy. He was right. My purpose has been renewed and spirit strengthen. My day is easier. I have worked with Zane, Jolee, Jaime, Alex, Rob, and Madi who are all amazing instructors and fun to work with. You won't regret it.

Very helpful to beginners, you get a great workout and knowledge. I enjoyed my workouts here, but I have since exited the gym. I’m not a fan of some issues I encountered with management. I tore my ACL and they asked me for medical proof or to come in to cancel my membership. Wild that they would ask this considering I couldn’t walk. I literally sent them my mri result, absolutely ridiculous and out of line. I had other issues with management but I digress. After a year of healing, I returned to the gym, because I liked the workout. The coach was great at showing me how to manage my movement better to not hurt my ACL. The second time leaving the gym was straight forward.

I absolutely love it here. Not only is it an amazing workout, but it’s such a great stress reliever. I’ve created so many friends here, and am a part of an amazing community. Coaches Zane and Jolee are probably some of the best people I’ve met. I just hit 70 classes and I can’t wait to keep getting better.

Ok so today was my first day and I got open access membership where you can just come to the gym and use the equipment. I had my own routine coming from an east coast gym. My experience was I thought the gym was closed because the main door being locked, I didn’t know anything about the back garage thankfully a guy and male kid pulled up after me and took me around back. One coach introduced himself, several men there training gave me a fist bump(💪🏽), then two other coaches spoke to me during my routine, I appreciated being acknowledged. I was the only female there but 🤷🏽♀️ let’s get it lol. I have my own gloves, headpiece, weights, wraps, etc so I needed the space and heavy bag and they sure have enough heavy bags to go around plus the workout mats, body bag, speed bag, etc. . I love their boxing ring, I also like the design layout of the gym and the fact the bathroom works(didn’t work at my east coast gym ever). I only took away one star because I almost would’ve drove away thinking the gym was closed because of the locked door, had it not been for the guy and his son pulling up in time taking me around back. But I love that people were there, and I love that people didn’t act like I was invisible. Edit: the owner of the gym found me afterwards and made sense of everything. Much appreciated Heath.

My daughter wants to box/fight. Went there last night, didn’t have any idea what to expect. When we first went in I was like this is chaotic, but the more I paid attention the more I realized it wasn’t. It was just very busy but controlled. We love this place!

I’ve been having an awesome experience since I’ve joined. I come from a CrossFit background but slowly got out of shape having a baby. Going back to a gym is a little humbling. I wasn’t sure if I would like the environment or if it would be challenging enough for me at Jabz. Man was I surprised. It’s an awesome mix of everything! I am so sore and tired after every work out and I am working muscles I never used before. Aside from liking the workout… the coaches are awesome. I don’t think gyms understand how critical good coaches are to the life and vibe of a gym. I love Kelsey, Griffen, and Sam. They are so knowledgeable and helped me feel so comfortable and welcome. Very friendly and helpful. They push me every class. I love the constant feedback and pushing the class to keep going! You don’t have to think.. you can just do it. I tried a lot of gyms before here and I’m so happy I found a new home here! Highly recommend! :)

I have been going to Jabz for 8 years now and love it! The class times are conducive to working parents and the trainers are great! All I have to do is get there and then they motivate me to do the rest. I am way stronger than before, even though I have always consistently exercised. The regulars there are a great community support as well!

Jabz is an excellent workout!!! The trainers are all wonderful at giving individualized feedback to correct your form and encourage you to push yourself. Each class has a variety of exercises. It's a good combination between cardio and strength training. I feel very accomplished each time I go!

Jabz is the best workout for anyone - especially people who spend their workout time watching the clock. Jabz keeps moving with a different exercise each minute or so- and often you are the only one doing your exercise at a given time, so zero comparison or worry how silly you look. It’s also a great community with caring trainers. So glad to have found Jabz!

This gym cares nothing about children they put kids through a adult training program out side even when there is a heat advisory. Who does that !! Their trainers have no clue how to train children do not take your child here they will take your money even if you are not sure about classes. Most gyms offer you a trail to try the class to see if its for you. Not this gym they take your money and even after 1 class will not refund you your money. My son got heat stroke after his first class and it scared him so bad he did not want to go back. One class and they would not refund us our money. These pepole have no compassion for children ! Or respect or human kindness.

Highly Recommend this Gym - my 16-year-old son and I have been taking Krav Maga classes at the Phx Fire Gym since February 2017. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and care about their clients, particularly the kids who train at this facility. They take time to work on areas for each specific client, such as developing proper conditioning, coordination, self-confidence, and techniques. The training is rigorous, and clients should come prepared to work hard (and bring plenty of water). Instructors are particularly meticulous in monitoring the kids' workouts and ensuring they are sufficiently hydrated and in good condition before moving on to another activity. The care and concern they have for all their clients is apparent to all who attend this gym; the instructors are encouraging and want to see all their clients succeed.
