Best 24 Hour Gym near Owings-mills, Maryland

For anyone considering joining the Merritt in Owings Mills, please give this a read. I became a member at Merritt almost 15 years ago. When I joined they were offering a promotion that the first and last months were free. I moved away a few months ago so I went in to cancel my membership and to make sure they honored the contract that was signed. I spoke directly to Jennifer, an Asst GM at the location, and she said they did not have anything on file for this and they would need to contact the back office. I waited nearly a month and sent an email back to Jennifer which was almost 3 months ago at this point. To this day they still have not responded or resolved the $41 credit that they owe me. It is sad to think that a local business is comfortable ignoring a customer who spent money with them for well over a decade, and not honor a contract they agreed to, over $41. I am posting and sharing my story in hope that even a few people read this and decide to take their business elsewhere. Thanks for reading.

First off started out with the positive, the women's bathrooms are always very clean which I appreciate. Most of the employees there are friendly. But ....... The employees there NEVER ever approach people that are SLAMMING weights. This happens every time I'm there. Other her members are looking over at the person slamming the weights, like really dude?? It's beyond annoying. There is a thing called gym etiquette!

I’d like to share my experience with Nadeen as a PT was the best EVER! Nadeen asked me questions on my areas of concern and delivered a workout that had me wanting to challenge myself more. I appreciate her holding me accountable so that I wouldn’t let our sessions go to waste. I can’t wait to work with her again for new body goals.

This is a decent gym. The women bathroom is always clean and organized. The cardio machines I feel could be updated. I personally do not like that people outside of the gym can see you working out inside of the gym. That’s the only reason I barely come to this gym.

Small gym, great staff, always clean, 24 hour access for members. Never over crowded...
